"BE WARNED - do not buy from DealsWorld!!! In May 2011 I ordered and paid for a boxed set Criminal Minds Seasons 1-5 and X-Files complete series boxed set. Their website stated they were "factory original" and the illustrations on the website looked the same as I had seen in stores. The order process seemed as normal as any other online ordering. The DVDS arrived with a label on the package which indicated they had come from Hong Kong. After opening I realised they were not original factory DVD's. The DVD's were not in individual cases, they were put in pockets, some were not even printed, just plain silver DVD's. Some were missing, not the correct episodes, and some would not even play. Those that did play were heavily pixellated, obviously copies, of such poor quality making them not watchable. I contacted Dealsworld for a return address to return the DVD's for refund and when they finally responded they did not provide an address, but said that it was my responsibility to pay for return costs which could be expensive. After several more emails from me they made an offer to refund 50% of the costs. Whilst I was not happy with this outcome I decided to accept because it seemed it was the best I could expect. But they didn't make the refund, then stated that they couldn't refund my credit card because they were having "system problems" and suggested I open a paypal account. I did so, advised them the details, but still they didn't refund my money. I have emailed them at least once a week since then but to no avail. This company are scammers, stay away from them!! I wish I had!"
"Beware of this fraud company. I purchased a box set for $114 back in June which I have never received. I was promised a refund, but have not seen a dime. I will never use this company again nor recommend Dealworld for any product that they advertise. They just take your money and run. My only recource would to be spend more money to recop the $114 I lost to this company thru small claims court."
"Watch out. Obvious copies of Seasons 1-5 of Dexter (sound variable, picture quality poor, and some of the episode titles were even incorrect!) A few of the disks were covered in scratches and filthy with fingerprints and a couple of them were unwatchable -- including the very last episode. Will not do business with these people again."

"Absolutely WORST experience ever! Ordered Sharpe's Rifles series boxed. It arrived quickly, however it is a knockoff, since the discs were all mis numbered and they were in pink holders, I can't imagine Sharpe's Rifles being packaged in pink!! We found the correct sequence from Wikipedia and we made a master list so we could watch in correct sequence. Smack in the middle of the series, a disc refused to play on any of our dvd players or Blue Ray player.
It took nearly one month and several e-mails for them to respond, only when I placed will do a chargeback in the subject line, then a 'Linda' responded. After stating its our Dvd player etc, I told her, no, all of our Dvd players or top of the line Blue Ray player, will not play we should then purchase a lottery ticket. The disc was clearly faulty with fogging around the outer edging.
She promised to ship a replacement disc, that was Oct 22nd and today is Dec 23rd. Absolutely no response to our e-mails. STAY away from them they only create frustration and waste your money by selling bootleg DVD's and defective ones at that."
"Like so many others, I placed an order for seasons 1-7 of Curb Your Enthusiasm. The amt of 114.43 was paid through PayPal & my Visa debited. Days turned into weeks and no sign of my order. I turned the web site inside out looking for a telephone #,and of course had no luck. Half a dozen or more emails also went unanswered, despite my pleas to have someone contact me. Again, no luck. I was left no choice but to contact BBB. I filed a complaint & discovered that Deals World had an F rating and countless claims filed against them, most with similar complaints. I also filed a report with PayPal in the hopes of receiving a refund, which I'm very happy to say I was able to do. This has taught me an important lesson about online shopping, and the importance of obtainig a telephone # as well as BBB rating. Beware folks, and don;t do business with this company!!!! "

"Rogue company.Took 99.98$ from me,then started delaying tactics.PayPal was unable to return funds even though they ruled a dispute in my favor because this company wisely has NO funds in their paypal account even though they received my transfer via PayPal.3 months later, and I am still trying to recover my money through my CC company.Dealsworld.net stopped replying to my emails long ago,and even managed to get a review that I wrote of their scam removed from google.The review appeared for 2 days in a google search of dealsworld ,then vanished.google,it would appear,has additional sources of income.not bad.
