"HORRIBLE COMPANY. I finally received a tv that I purchased off of Ebay. They advertised as working with a few nicks and scratches. It arrives and is dropped off in the lobby of my apartment. Shipper says Dealtree refuses to have them help me carry up 3 flights of stairs. I have to carry by myself. I get it in my house and there is no picture only sound. This is the second day I have tried to get a return scheduled and all they say is they are not sure of the problem and they are working on it. I want my money back and I want them to physically take this from my apartment and return it to Dealtree. I want my refund and I will never deal with them again. I have reported them to Ebay and in turn Dealtree said because I gave them a negative review ,, they would do the same to me. You know what, go head. Make up lies, I don't care. I do not sell on Ebay so it doesnt matter. Boycott this company and please do no buy anything from them. You will have wasted your time and money for nothing but heartache.

"Dealtree purposly mis labeled their product so it would sell as the hotter item at a cheaper price. When I asked them this before bidding they confirmed that if it wasnt exactly what I wanted that they would refund my money. After letting them know that the product was indeed incorrect. They refused to RMA the item for refund. "
"They will not repond to requests for a rma number to return the item that wasn't correctly described in the auction. They won't respond to email, paypal and squaretrade resolution requests. Consumers fight back, if you get scammed by them file suit in small claims court. "
"received bad and broken item, refuse to refund and exchange, customer service extremely bad. I can't believe I’m buying stuff from this company, anyway, this is the first time and theat will be last time."
"This company is non-responsive and has no customer service. I wrote to them on numerous occasions about the item I purchased and they chose not to respond, I filed at the PayPal resolution center, and they wouldn't even respond through PayPal. Their online chat Customer Service never works, it kicks you back to e-mail, there are no phone numbers listed so you can't contact them any other way then e-mail which they chose to ignore. "
"THE WORST Seller on the net. I purchased 2 out of 3 saw sensors for sale from their Deal-a-Deal store. Transaction went fine, then 2 days later I got an email saying they no longer had the items because of an "unfortunate mis-shipment". Right after they cancelled my order, I found that they had listed them on Ebay and even listed a link to their Ebay auctions on their website. The third sensor is still listed for sale on their website. (Seems funny that I was informed that they had nothing to substitute for them.) Not a good company to do business with. Look elsewhere..."
"I bought two items from this seller and had one good experience and one bad experience. The first time I tried buying from them, UPS lost my package. It was insured, so I asked for my money back. UPS told me that they had already sent the money to Dealtree. I had to hassle Dealtree quite badly before they eventually gave me my money. I later decided to give them a second chance, and they were very good this time."
"After a purchase on Ebay, attempted to pay and ship but was only then told the only way to proceed would be to have item shipped to same zip code as billing address. Appreciate need to protect against fraud, but there are further ways to validate purchaser if they were so inclined. No response to 2 email queries on subject. After leaving negative feedback for them on Ebay, only then did they come back to me and apologize for my inability to follow directions. Customer treated as nuisance."
"I purchased some KLH Rock Landscape Outdoor Speakers, and could not be happier! These guys sell used and open box items, so my expectations were low, and I knew that I was most likely paid the lowest price on the planet. Shipping was reasonable, and communication was excellent. They sent an email confirming the order, another one with the tracking number, and a 3rd one a few days after, asking if it arrived safely.
Thanks guys!"
"The charge was posted to my credit card twice for one optical mouse that I won at eBay. There is no excuse for such behavior."
"Update: Dealtree sent payment in full for the PC I had sent to them within 24 hours, after sending a letter stating legal action will proceed if they did not honor the purchase quote.
If you should send your PC to Dealtree in regards to thier used PC purchase program, and they do not wish to pay, notify Dealtree that you will refer your situation to your State Attorney Generals Office. (No cost to you.)
I have 15 years of government IT experience. I had sent Dealtree a good working e-machines computer in regards to thier computer purchase program. (As advertised by Circuit City, and other big box retailers.) Thier online purchase price estimate was for $147.40. They received the shipment, and quickly responded with a e-mail stating a $0.00 value, stating that it did not work.(Body of e-mail text below...)
Dear Tradein Customer:
The Tradein Item that you have sent to us has arrived in a condition other than
what was quoted on your estimate. The item specifications provided were
incorrect and the unit has no value as a tradein. The components of the unit
may be useable, but we do not purchase components as a part of the tradein
program. If you would like the unit returned to you, we can arrange for that -
however the return shipping and handling costs ($85.75) will be your
responsibility. This cost is comprised of the shipping costs to and from our
location, and a $25 inspection fee. You have 72 hours to respond to this email
and notify us of your intentions.
I mentioned that the shipper received the PC from me packaged in good condition, Dealtree should file a shipping claim if there is a problem in regards to computer damage. Thier plan is not to pay me for my computer sent to them.
They received it undamaged according to the shipper, and want $110.75 to return it to me.

"Leadership responded very well. Cause of the trouble was that ebay's checkout system can not process different tax rates as it is needed by national operating companies. This resulted in a payment balance and triggered a wealth of automated emails as well as a strike.
So if you buy, use the checkout system provided by dealtree, not the "Pay Now" button and you will be satisfied with the products, service and transaction time.
WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! THIS STORE SENT ME 42 EMAILS UP TO THIS DAY ALTHOUGH I PAID IN FULL AS REQUESTED AT THE CHECKOUT AT EBAY. NOW THEY REFUSE TO SHIP AND GIVE ME AN UNPAID ITEM STRIKE BECAUSE 9 CENTS ARE SUPPOSED TO MISS??? ISN"T THAT INSANE? I PAID USD 254.44!!"
"Is by far the worst seller in the Internet. One of the products was never shipped. After 2 emails, they stopped replying. I lost my money. DO NOT WAIST yours."
"I didn't find the product I was looking for. I'm not sure if this is the right site for me. Maybe I need to look again"
"The epitome of poor customer service...Why, because it's NON-EXISTENT!...And, to make matters FAR WORSE, these people fire off payment demands like candy AFTER payment effected. In one day 8-10, BUT NOT ONE RESPONSE to answer MY GRIEVANCES. I will NEVER buy from this outfit again! It was obvious within a few hours after auction close, that this WAS NOT a company I would deal with...REGARDLESS of price, condition or quality! These guys have a lot of gall.
If they continue this way, they'll be out of business in no time. AND, other comments on this forum seem to exceed 70% NEGATIVE.
Good concept, though...Somebody else might do it better."
