"Awesome company to deal with, great products at bargain prices. CS was friendly and easy. "
"I felt compelled to write this. I have purchased over 75 items from Dealtree. Most have been watches and several small electronic items. Out of all that I did have one problem and it was with a monitor. Getting a rma is not that hard if you do exactly what they say. The co. gave me a full refund and even refunded my shipping charge I paid to have it sent to me....I will continue to buy from them. Sometimes large companies are like a big tree they catch a lot of wind and maybe this is what we hear about....thanks....Stan"
"Easily, the worst seller I have ever done business with on eBay. In June 2004, won a bid for a Kenwood receiver/CD player. Received the product, which was defective (continual humming noise) and was missing parts (remote, stabilizer feet). Product was not described accurately in the Ebay posting. After several back and forth emails, received an RMA # to return the product.
Unfortunately, I received it just after I left on an extended foreign trip due to a death in the family. When I returned, I shipped back the product, but the RMA had expired.
Dealtree refused to honor the RMA or fix the product. I then requested it ship back the product to me. Dealtree said it did so on October 1, 2004, but didn't notify me of such until November 12, 2004.
Interestingly, the product was "now lost in transit." I finally got a hold of Dealtree's president, who authorized a full refund. Two more months went by with repeated emails asking for the refund status, but my emails were ignored.
Finally got an email that a refund was processed on December 8, 2004, but through a lot of research discovered Dealtree credited the wrong PayPal account! Finally, on January 5, 2005 I got PayPal and Dealtree on a conference call and got the refund processed. It took more than six months of emails and phone calls to get this resolved.
Dealing with Dealtree Customer Service is a nightmare. If it had provided me with basic info (date of return shipment, tracking #, status of refund, etc.) in its communications, I wouldn't have wasted time sending more than 20 emails requesting information.
It says it responds to emails within 24 hours, but that policy is largely ignored. Expect to wait weeks for a response.
I would not buy from Dealtree ever again. Also, it states on its Ebay bids that if you leave negative feedback for them, they will automatically leave negative feedback for you.
If you have a dispute, my advice is to get its president involved early and often. He seems able to make a decision faster and more fairly than his employees. Also contact Ebay, PayPal and the Better Business Bureau, and the Federal Trade Commission, which investigates online fraud."
"DEALTREE is by far the worst company I have ever come across. The "manager" Kristin is extremely rude and obnoxious and called me a profane name when she finally got rid of me. The customer service rep Brent is supposedly Kristin's supervisor (HAHAHAHA). Kristin and Brent both told me multiple lies and Kristin admitted to it after she finally got the message that I would not go away until they gave me honest answers. This doesn't even take into consideration that the item was a worn damaged piece of crap.
AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS. THEY ARE SCUMBAGS.
THE ITEM WAS DOA!!!"
"This company is the worst. They guarentee no DOA's and then ship pure junk. When I requested an RMA, three different times, I get an automated reply stating there return policy but never an RMA. My Hewlett Packard printer, was stated to be factory reconditioned and in as new condition. It doesn't work. When I contacted Hewlett Packard, they stated the printer was out of warranty. I had no choice but to leave negative feedback on EBAY for these people, so I'm sure they will leave negative feedback for me too, and will probably say something stupid like I never contacted them. That of course would be an outright lie, but after reading some other comments about these people, I know you will know what I'm talking about."
"Morons...Morons...Morons! Wouldn't work with me - They have a freakling map to their facility on their website but they don';t let you pick up. They have an automated reply system that hammers you with junk email and their customer service people are extremely rude over the phone.....Recommend going elsewhere - there are thousands of others that appreciate your business."
"Panasonic 2.4ghz 2-Handset Cordless Phone Set ***-***-**** ebay id. phone was junk, got an rma, and now they wont respond and dont know where it is. i took pictures of it and got tracking proof. it was listed in good condition with only minor scratches but was junk and non functional!!

"No problems! I ordered a console game through an auction site and it arrived quickly and was new, as advertised. Overall deal was very good (very low price, moderately high shipping). Would buy from again."
"DVPS7700 Sony DVD Player - arrived defective....returned......and arrived defective again. Refused to take back. I own multiple DVD players, CD players etc.......it's not me, it's the product.
"
"horrible customer service, was shipped incorrect merchandise, was told it must be my mistake and that they would do nothing to correct their error."
"I purchased the Sims Deluxe game from this company. When I received the game, it was scratched so bad that it would not install. I tried and tried to contact them via email. I have yet to receive any kind of reply. Even something saying that they could not help me would be appreciated but alas I receive nothing. Personally I would never purchase anything from this company again but if you decide to just BEWARE!"
"This was the WORST transaction I have ever been involved with. I bought a product from Dealtree for $436, and they obviously didn't care about my satisfaction. They lost my package, and blamed UPS. UPS never even RECEIVED the package, so how could they lose something they never got? My father has been a warehouse manager for over 25 years, so he called customer service on my behalf, after I didn't get a response to the emails I sent. They were NOT helpful at all. They said, and I quote, "Whenever a package is missing, that means UPS lost it." My dad knew that that was ridiculous, because the tracking info indicated that UPS never received the package. He asked to speak to someone else, and they told him that someone would call him back within 45 minutes. He was not called back.
He called a few days later, and they said they didn't have any replacements available, so they'd refund my money immediately, and due to the bank's processing, I'd have the money back in my account within two days. Well, guess what! I didn't receive my money when they said i would. So my dad called back, and was told that they didn't refund my money until two days after they said they would. I finally got it, and I left them a negative feedback on ebay. I think it was warranted, because they repeatedly lied to me, and their customer service was TERRIBLE. Then they left ME a negative feedback, saying that I was a "rookie ebayer" and to beware of me. I paid within 30 minutes of winning the auction, and I was a good customer. This whole ordeal was such a hassle, and I really urge you to beware of Dealtree. DO NOT purchase from them. Sure their prices are good, but if they mess up your order, it's going to take you a lot of (toll) phone calls and persistence to get your money back.

"Purchased a Creative Labs 3D Blaster Annihilator 2 64MB AGP GEFORCE 2 GTS Video Card from Dealtree. Item was as stated, deliver was timely, and packaging was exceptional. I considered this transaction to be very professional. I will do business with Dealtree again. "
"I purchased a Quantum SDLT 220 drive through Dealtree.com. They shipped it with the tape in the drive, which the manual expressly says not to do. They either shipped it that way on purpose, or didn't even take the time to check that a tape was there. Both are terrible. Second, and most important the drive was DEFECTIVE. Now in fairness to Dealtree, they offered to RMA the unit themselves. Of course they charge you shipping, and I had to read their warranty to see exactly what they were going to charge me to fix the defective unit they sent me in the first place. I had to go to the Manufacturer to get the device repaired.
I couldn't even find a phone number on their site, that I could call someone at. They have a generic email address, and a fax number. That was frustrating.
I suppose I could get a defective unit from the factory, but with the drive shipped with the tape inserted, I would have to say that I was very dissapointed with them and personally will not do business with them again."
