"Avoid this company, they are frauds. They will take your order and your money but won't ship the product and won't give you a refund. It has been almost 1 year and I still don't have a refund."

"I ordered 12 door plungers in April and have yet to receive my shipment. I've tried contacting Marie J. Horch a customer representative for HOMEANNEX and i have had no response. Every phone number i have for the company either has been disconnected or no longer in service!? I e-mailed them several times with no results. The credit card company won't help because to much time has gone by. I really believe that this company is scamming the public for it's own benefit,I'm at a loss about how to contact these scrupulous people working for this company. They should all be charged with fraud and fined very heavily.and made to pay consumers back. I will try to do my best to contact these people, i am very frustrated and hope potential customers read these reviews before going any further with their orders."

"What a piece of sh** this company is. Next time I'm in Brooklyn, I will look up a Mr. Sloamie at Homeannex.com and personally ask him for my refund since he lied and has ripped off a lot people. I also ordered merchandise, checked cashed and never received it. "

"I am having a similar, horrible experience as others who have posted here. This company should be charged and convicted of fraud. I just made my 4th call regarding an order which was posted to my credit card, but no delivery made. Emails have been returned as undeliverable. I looked up this company and it is not accredited by the Better Business Bureau due to large numbers of customer complaints, usually regarding deliveries. I have never had an online experience like this one. "

"Worst customer service i have ever had. One of my rough in valves never came, i e-mailed them to see when it was coming, they never responded. I called and they said they were shipping it with my next order, they never shipped it. I tried to fax them and the fax number does not work. I have called multiple times, spent hours on hold and finally was told i would get a credit. Well i didn't so i e-mail'd again from customer service section of their website and they responded with the following "This mailbox (****@****) is not monitored and you will not receive a response. For assistance, Please email Customer Service at ****@**** or call ***-***-****." I am at the end of my rope, i cant take another minute on hold with them. I have never in my life had this bad of an experience with an online shopper.

"I should have read the only other review about this company on this site. My experience is identical to the previous reviewer.
I placed my order and was told that the product would not be available for 2 to 3 weeks. This should have been my first clue. My project was going to be finished before my hardware was even going to ship so I cancelled my order on 2/4/09 and still have not received a refund.
This company is practically impossible to get a hold of, does not return calls, and is very unresponsive. Stay away - DO NOT SHOP HERE!
I am contacting my credit card company today to file the dispute.

"I canceled an order before it even shipped (as weeks had passed and I needed the item for a remodel) and was not given a refund. After long hours on hold, dealing with rude and dismissive customer service, and just plain being ignored - I finally left it to my credit card company to deal with.

Exactly 6 months after the order was canceled, I finally received a refund. And that's only because my credit card company contacted them.

There are plenty of online resellers that are fantastic - I have spent the past year and a half working with them. There's no reason to shop with HomeAnnex, Decor66, and all of their other brands. They offer the same or perhaps slightly better prices (a dollar here and there) - it's just not worth it!

Improvement Direct and their brands, for instance, offer fantastic customer service at great prices.
