What really surprised me is the air pressure released when I opened each valve. Shipping the valves with a considerable amount of air contained in the ball valve shut off position, so much so each made an audible pop when opened, is startling and puzzling. On reflection it's audible quality assurance that there are no leaks in the seal. What I want to learn is how that pressure is put in there. I am puzzled but very satisfied."
