"I purchased a Grade A refurbished laptop from Dell Refurbished UK, expecting a high-quality product. Unfortunately, the laptop quickly developed significant issues that rendered it unusable. Despite being advertised as in excellent condition, the unit was clearly defective, as confirmed by an independent expert.
To make matters worse, the customer service experience has been abysmal. After reporting the issues, Dell Refurbished refused to compensate me for the additional costs I incurred, including the rental of a replacement machine while I was abroad and labour charges for attempted repairs"
"I'm sitting this on every platform I can find. Awful and negligent company. The laptop I bought does not boot correctly and goes into recovery mode as soon as I turn it on.
The customer service is slow, inefficient and don't provide solutions. I have called two times since yesterday, sent two emails and still no answer.
I really recommend buying a new laptop instead of buying Dell refurbished. They are not reliable and not worth anyone's time"
"Its look like they are now getting cheaper and cheaper. A grade comes 50% right. Now keyboard and mouse are from non branded cheap chines trash. Some USB ports are damaged. Some 3rd party is now refurbishing for dell. Don't buy get cheaper from Ebay or Amazon ..."
"Purchased a workstation on Nov 25/23 then noticed a cyber dale due on the following Monday. Called the support number and asked if I could cancel the original order and re-order taking advantage of the 33% discount for the cyber sale. I was told that I did not have to cancel the order and that she could apply the discount to existing order. She told me that the following day I would see a refund on my payPal for the 33%. That refund never arrived. I called the support line again and this time some guy from europe answers and says no way to get a refund, product has shipped, so sad .. nothing he can do. I have filed a complaint with Dell Refurbished in Canada with this complaint and as yet have not had a reply. I too have been a customer of theirs for years but this latest round of dishonesty has changed my opinion substantially."
"I purchased a laptop for my daughter when they were running a 50 percent off sale. I didn't expect much for a $200 Precision laptop, once a top spec. It came looking literally new and I've had no problems. I assume the battery will fail at some point but it's easy to replace. Also, they accidentally overcharged me (I used the wrong coupon code) and immediately refunded me. Even their customer service was easy to reach. Sounds like I'm an outlier but I couldn't be happier with Dell Refurbished."
"I was sent a laptop which was not full HD, the description stated it was FHD and also on testing it was found, it had a bad SSD which had 1% life remaining. The CSA Alina, I spoke to made me feel like the trouble I went through with this bad laptop was nothing, I wanted this item to be picked up by the carrier to save me some trouble but nothing like that could be done. RMA did not even mention that a lower specification item was sent, instead of a laptop with FHD screen one with a HD screen was sent, it just stated HDD failure with a note the health of the SSD is bad. SSD can be replaced under warranty. Rude, bad and unprofessional dealings. I wonder if they are deliberately trying to dump wrong/bad products on unsuspecting customers. Inspect your item to see they sent you the correct product as per the description, if you can't let someone help you with it. Dell Refurbished cannot be trusted, what they do is like cheating, bad/poor/cheap refurbishment and also giving false information about the product to cheat people."
"Just ordered a Dell Latitude 7280 from Dell refurbished. The battery life was poor so I checked with the onboard Dell diagnostic software and their own software tells me the battery is at end of life. In the 4 days I've had it, the original 60Wh battery has gone from a high of 28 Watthrs to 23 Watthrs of capacity.
They're obviously content to ship out crap - buyer beware. At least Amazon guarantees 80% battery capacity.
Otherwise laptop is decnt, buit battery might as well have been missing...."
"Have been a longtime customer of DFS , latest laptop arrived with a faulty keyboard , noticed sticker saying supplied by Dell refurbished by FedEx! Gone is the quality refurbishment I expected from manufacturer and gone am I as a customer of DFS. "
"Purchased a Professional Business Monitor. It arrived with a piece broken off in the monitor shaking around. I started my return online, but did not receive confirmation of a pick up. I called customer service for the 1st of many times. I believe I called India each time. I received an email with a Return Authorization. After sitting home 2 days waiting for Fedex to pick up, I called and they have no record of a pick up. I called Dell numerous times and they insist it is being picked up that day. It is still sitting here in the box. I have a dispute with the credit card company. Would never purchase from them again!!!!!

"We ordered two laptops. One didn't charge (charger was lit up, but charging port was loose).
Spoke to Dell support, they said to ring a number. Rang that number, was put through to two different people. Advice was to call a different number. A man answered, who said I had come through to HP support, and I had pressed the wrong number on the IVR (there was no IVR). Advised me to send them an email. I had a response the next day, then nothing for two days. "
"Ordered an expensive Dell Precision laptop. It arrived busted. A hole was in the box and in the computer. It was packaged poorly. That really needs improvement.
Each time I called Dell Refurbished it took 45 minutes of hold time. They did not call me back when they said they would. The customer service was non existent. After 6 hours they still had not found a replacement for mine. I said just stop. I will not deal with them again.

"Bought a Dell Latitude E7470 for my son to use for college. I picked a model that was represented to be in "very good" condition. 3 months in and we find the webcam doesn't work and the battery is failing since it is 4 years old. How can they sell a refurb and claim it is very good if the battery hasn't been replaced and the components all work. I purchased an extended pro warranty support but keep getting the run around since it is outside of 90 days. have spent a total of 8 hours on the phone so far, had to reload the operating system via tech support direction which wiped out all the programs (office, etc.) and cannot get assistance to resolve. Last call I got hung up on after being on hold for nearly 45 minutes. I thought I was getting a good deal but with having to purchase a battery and webcam and now trying to reinstall all programs, I have concluded that Dell refurbished computers are a colossal waste of time. Next time I will spend a bit more money and get something new, not going to be a Dell!!! :("
"I have ordered a Dell refurnished laptop and received it.
The corners of the laptop and edges are more blunt because of over use.
It looks more used and even it was not cleaned properly. It's full of dust when i received it.
Though it's claimed Refurbished its not refurbished properly.
Then I looked around the laptop and saw a label saying it was "refurbished by FEDEX".
Now i would like to return this laptop because the price is too high for such poorly refurbished laptop.
They said I need to pay the restocking fee of 15%. Don't buy refurbished from Dell."
