" I just placed an order through dermstore after receiving a promo code. As soon as I placed my order I was bombarded with an invasive popup asking me to add Klorane Dry shampoo to my cart for a special price, I clicked on add to cart thinking it would be added to my cart for a future order since I've already placed my current order. I just received my receipt on my email and was surprised to see that I was charged for this dry shampoo on my current order.
I believe this invasive and confusing upselling technique a very short-sighted that will not work in the long run and will have a inverse effect. I thought dermstore was legitimate website. This will be my last order from dermstore. "
"Chatted with a chap named Calvin W. concerning a site-wide coupon (shows no restrictions next to the coupon banner like other legit stores do) I wasn't ordering $150 moisturizer that IS included in the offer, I wouldn't consider this excluded product a prestige brand at all. There is absolutely nothing on the product pages that states a restriction and I was ordering a few items, different brands some were included and of those not included, you didn't find out until you went to checkout, entered the code and I noticed the discount was off. And at that point and in very small print, under the name of the product appeared this message "Promo code ineligible: Restricted Brand."
The CS response was that info is in the banner and I said no it isn't, it says exactly this "Save 20% sitewide during Friends & Family Sale with code FRIENDS. SHOP NOW" At which point I was told we should go down to the footer, click on FAQs and read all of those to find the coupon details. I dumped my almost $300 cart and will order from a more reputable company. What a crap experience. I did ask to have my just created account deleted, last thing I want is emails from this crap company."
"This was my first time ordering from Dermstore. I ordered a product as a gift and the wrong product was sent. I called the customer service line to let them know of this. NOT ONCE did this person ever apologize. This was the most rude customer service rep I have ever spoke to. They told me the person who received the gift would have to go through the trouble of returning the product in order for them to received what I originally purchased for them. In shock that they would not fix their own problem and sent the product I bought, I offered to buy a new product, so the receiver of the gift would get the correct thing. I asked if I could get a discount to send the correct item (hopefully). The guy on the phone told me he could give me 10% off and that is the best he could do for me...Ridiculous. I asked to speak to a manager and was told no because the manager would tell me the same thing. I insisted and he said he could send me the "escalated customer line if I would consider myself irate". Absolutely unbelievable and disrespectful service just to try and get a product I originally order. I would never recommended this company as clearly they do not care about their customers. "

"This was my first (and last) time ordering from DermStore. I ordered one simple item. The box arrived labelled correctly with my name & address, but inside was someone else's packing slip and three-item order. I called the company's customer service and talked to the rudest, most arrogant rep I've ever encountered ("April"). Not only did she repeatedly and noisily sniff & snuffle throughout the entire call (cold? allergies? get Benadryl and tissues!), she not once apologized for the incorrect order and inconvenience, AND interrupted & cut off my questions about the return process. Terrible reflection on the company and how it views customers. "

"I ordered an item from Dermstore and received the wrong product. The company told me I'd need to ship back the item and wait another week to receive the correct product. They sent a second wrong item and I had to go through the entire process again, further delaying the shipment of the correct product. Finally, a third time around and I receive an email stating the exact same wrong skincare product was being shipped to me once again (this is after I was assured they were doing a stock check to prevent this from happening again). Customer service could have cared LESS! They did not want to offer me anything more than a measly 15% off, which I can easily find on the internet and told me that "mistakes happen." Needless to say, I will be ordering this item ELSEWHERE going forward. Dermstore is a joke."

I contacted them because received an email said my order not yet completed, so it's reasonable to call them find out the order status, because my card has been charged. Their customer services named BRANDY, she had an bad attitude and hard time to answer you things. They made you feel like begging them something!!! She is UNPROFESSIONAL, IMPOLITE representatives ever spoke with. I am not sure if DERMSTORE is paying them a minimum wages. " I ordered a product and was told that magazine subscriptions came with the order. A oouple of days later they canceled my order but the magazine subscriptions were not canceled and kept coming. My mistake was assuming they would cancel the subscriptions too as they were not part of the order. I think this is an intentional gimmick on their part to get money for products they don't have. "The attitude of custom service is very very bad! Besides this, if you order something with so-called two day shipping, you can get it in at least 5 days! Do they even have people work for them? Taking 72 hours to process the order is ridiculous!"
"I ordered some product on May 14, 2015 with the clear understanding that I could return everything for free for a store credit. The colors of the makeup I ordered did not work so I sent it back immediately. It is now over a month later and I am still waiting for the Dermstore to issue my store credit.
They did receive the product, I have the USPS email confirmation to prove it, yet they have still not given me a store credit. I mailed the product back on 5/28 and the receipt shows that they Dermstore kept bouncing it back and forth between facilities until they finally marked it as returned on 6/15/15. Is this some sort of scam? Over two weeks for a tiny little package to make it's way back to the correct facility?
I've ordered from Dermstore for years, but I've only ordered when I knew exactly what I wanted. This time I took a chance on some new things and got burned. I will never use them again.
