"I want to share my shopping experience of my visit to the Designer Depot at Vaughan Mills, Toronto, ON. The customer service from the supervisor and the "district manager" (the man who claimed himself) in that store was absolutely horrible. I found a coat costs $99.00 (regular price tag) but there was another price tag attached to it and it said $59.00. Above this rack, there was a little poster and it said "less 50% off the lowest ticket price...and you pay $50". I was not quite sure if I should pay $29.50 (50% lowest price tag)or pay $50. I asked one sales person to clarify my confusion. She then "teared off" the lowest ticket price and said the coat is cost $50. I was shocked by what you did. However, even shocking that she found her supervisor and she was so arrogant and advised me that the coat is cost $50. When I asked her name...she refused to tell me and then she found her district manager to talk to me. He said it must be their customers or whoever puts the extra price tag there...it is, in fact, $50. He was so rude and he also accused other customers to remove and attach lower price tags to some other clothes. He said it happens so often in this store. What? I didn't believe that I was talking to the "district manager"...what'a manager to bad mouth their customers. Again, when I asked his name, he raised his tone and he asked me why do I want to know? I assume this is a well-known, big store, unfortunately, they did not honour their price tag on their clothes, nor any professional customer service offered from their staff. It was certainly a very unpleasant conversation, although the "district manager" eventually wrote his name on a piece of paper for me. A real name or not? I am not quite sure. Of course,I did not buy or I will never buy anything from this store. Please beware of this store. By the way, you could easily find the same types of clothes from Fairweather, same price. It is your alternative if you prefer to be a happy customer. (Feb 7, 2011). "
