"I ordered the Valencia 3.04 center princess cut diamond ring and I had it for barely 3 weeks before there was a chip in the center stone and lots of scratches on the band of the ring already. I know I am not that rough on my rings, my first wedding set has lasted 6.5 years just fine. I got a quick reply for the repair which was nice but i was told to send it directly to a certain customer service director so she could personally check the stone. When I reached back out to the employee to find out why she thought it had chipped she did not answer. It's been four days and she still hasn't contacted me. I would like to know why the stone chipped and if this low-quality fragile ring is what I should expect. It's sad because I love the ring and received many compliments. Am I going to only get to wear it on special occasions because it's so fragile?!?!"

It is beautiful, no one will ever guess that it is not a real diamond. I ordered another ring initially and did not like the way it looked on my hand. "Please! do yourself a favor and do not buy anything from Diamond Nexus. I bought a ring from them with the understanding I could return it if I didn't like it. The ring is pretty but the gold is extremely thin towards the back of the ring. It appears to be very cheaply made.
When I tried to return the ring, they claimed the ring had been purchased "on sale" and sale items weren't returnable. The issue is my receipt doesn't state that the ring was on sale but their copy of the same receipt has "this item is not returnable" superimposed in red on the same invoice. I would never have purchased something so expensive if it weren't returnable. Fortunately I contacted the good people at Discover and filed a dispute so Diamond Nexus will not be paid.
When I spoke with their customer service people, I got the impression this practice was business as usual for them. Don't let this happen to you. "
"I purchased my DN on sale. The ring itself is beautiful so far (haven't had enough wear time to truly judge).
My complaint is with policies on shipping not being "in your face" when ordering. I live in a border town in Canada and had I noticed their shipping policies I would have gotten the ring shipped to the border city instead of to my home town. I got hit for another $70 in customs fees.
I believe that there should be something at the checkout when you are purchasing a product that indicates that you will be responsible for any duties or customs."
