"TBH, I actually signed onto a different website in order to take advantage of Golden's major semi-annual sale of acrylic paint. However, the site was so frustrating, slow, and error-prone that I clicked off in disgust and searched for a different vendor. Found Blick, and in a few simple clicks, ended up buying several hundred dollars worth of product. Thank you, web masters. Blick apparently realizes the difference you make to their sales! But it all would've been for naught if the company hadn't followed up the sales with excellent notifications re the speedy delivery of my orders. Lastly, the way in which the tubes of paint and brushes were packaged so that they arrived in perfect condition means that Blick is now my absolute go-to place for all of my artist supplies.

"Purchased Conte 1710B pencils for an art class because they were said to be smooth and easy to shade with once sharpened with a razor to a very long point. Sanded smooth, I attempted to complete the class assignments but struggled with the Conte’s because I kept running into bits of sand or rocks or essentially rough parts. Sanding and reshaping several different Conte pencils all resulted in the same scratchy results. So, frustrated, I reached out to my teachers and I ordered Wolff’s Carbon pencils in 4B & 6B on their recommendation as a good alternative. Immediate improvement and no grit found while sketching and shading. Not sure what has happened with the Contes, but the quality has diminished evidently. Blick is fast in shipping and items always arrive in good condition, selection is good. Satisfied so far with their company."
