I have always looked for something better than the norm as the reloading and keeping the lead from getting broken or stuck during use was a constant hassle. The auto lead action and retraction of the tip on your pencils is absolutely excellent. I still use mechanical pencils as my primary writing tool and so am happy with these pencils; I sure wish I had use of this particular pencil or something similar all those years managing construction projects. "I ordered sepia lead. The first order came with the lead at the bottom of an enormous box, relatively speaking size-wise. I called, explained that the individual leads were all in 3 to 6 pieces each. Your rep very carefully listened and the second try came with plastic pillows and bubble wrap. The actual lead came in a football shaped bubble wrap inside the (same size) padded box. Unfortunately, the leads were again in pieces, although only 2 or 3 pieces each. I suspect your supplier's shipping is the problem. The plastic box which contains the lead has paper and foam covering the lead condition. I would suggest you undo the tape on a box in stock and check that the leads are intact.

The lead pieces are such that I can use them. You need not replace them again. Thank you for your careful response to my complaint."
