"Ordered items from them on Nov. 2nd. I never received any notification after the initial order email. I inquired on any tracking information with no reply. On Dec. 22nd I receive email my order has been canceled, with no details. I returned reply asking why and when should I see the refund. I received reply that stated 24 hours. Today is now Dec. 30 and I still have no refund and no items. Their website now says "STORE IS CLOSED"."

"Customer Service is non-existent. Placed order on September 19, 2009 and order was confirmed. Three days later I received an email indicating the item I ordered was on backorder. Attempted to contact vendor via email and telephone and never received a response. Contacted American Express to dispute the charge since it have been over 3 weeks since I placed the order. American Express contacted the vendor and I eventually received the merchandise almost a month and a half after I had placed the order. I never heard back from the vendor."

"These guys stink. After I read the negative views from some buyers, I was skeptical, and left my item in the cart. They followed up with an email asking why I didn't complete my purchase and if they could answer any of my questions. My response:

Hardly a "guarantee", but I thought I'd give them the benefit of the doubt. They processed my order. Three days later, they cancelled and refunded, without any explanation (they didn't return my emails).
I went back to their website, and the item no longer exists there.
I thankfully got my money back (and therefore doesn't deserve a "one" checkmark), but Digitlook is pulling a fast one on its customers, and ordering from them amounted to a waste of time. "

My card was charged the very next day. After 3 days nothing was shipped, I contacted Leo R. at digitlook and he informed me that the item was backordered and would ship in 1 week. A week passed and nothing was shipped, then magically the order is voided, and a "refund" is issued. I never received a refund. This company is a complete scam.

They only accept PayPal payment, not credit card. However PayPal does not guarantee your purchase and/or full refund in the event of a problem because they are a 3rd-party. PayPal only guarantees eBay purchases to the buyer, not 3rd-party purchases.
So... ordered 20 DVHS tapes on July 7 on Digitlook web site, received instant confirmation of purchase by email. Also received instant confirmtion from PayPal of payment.
But I never received any further correspondence from Digitlook providing shipping info or tracking number. I called and left phone messages (no reply at all) and sent numerous emails (no reply at all).
Finally, on July 13 I opened a PayPal dispute, which I converted to a "claim" on July 14. Presumably PayPal sent an email to the vendor asking for tracking information and giving them 10 days to reply. No decision can be made regarding my claim until that 10 day period expires.
Magically, on the very evening of July 14, after having received no other correspondence from Digitlook until that point, I receive an email from Digitlook stating "your order has been canceled" but which did not mention any refund.
More repeated emails and phone messages left asking about the refund on my now canceled order. Again, no reply at all in any form.
Finally, July 25 arrives and PayPal decides in my favor. However they only recover $125 from the PayPal account of Digitlook, and not the full $283 they originally took from me back on July 7 at the instant moment of purchase.
So I'm screwed out of $158, because PayPal "only acts as a financial intermediary" and does not guarantee 3rd-party uses of PayPal. Only eBay purchases are guaranteed.
However, PayPal does state that they have suspended the ability of Digitlook from using PayPal for payment, until they refund the remaining $158 to me. The Digitlook PayPal account is suspended (so I've been told).
So... NEVER BUY FROM DIGITLOOK. I can't believe they are really in business.
Also, NEVER USE PAYPAL IF YOU CAN USE A CREDIT CARD (which will fully back you up in disputes, and will refund your purchase amount in full).
If you do use PayPal, choose the "pay by credit card" option and not your bank account as the funding source, as hopefully (not known for absolute sure) your credit card company will still stand behind you even if the credit card purchase was made through PayPal.

Got email canceling my order on 1/12.
I queried as to why the sudden cancellation.
No answer to my inquiry.
They charged my credit card and as of 1/19 have not answered my emails and have not reversed the charge on my card.
I have started an 'inquiry' through my credit card company and will pursue.
DO NOT BUY FROM THESE PEOPLE.
