"Don't let the slick website and friendly offers of help fool you. Also avoid any other companies with the names of XeStore; Digitaldealz; Aces Club; Cyberdealz & I'm sure more to come.
My experience is just like those who wrote before me. Instead, I'm going to repeat some info from another reviewer.

"This may be the worst on-line purchasing experience I've ever had in my life time by now.
I placed the order online for a Canon G3 digital camera and they let me call back. I knew they want to sell accessories to me when I call back to "verify the order", after a long time of talking with the representative, I bought two lens for $199 which I thought was not too expensive with a free lens adapter for my Canon G3 digital camera which is charged for $586.
The second day, my credit card had been charged for 815 which is not 586+199=785 as I thought. I realized this a few days later when I check my credit card history. I called them, they said they will help me check it but no clear answer for the hidden $30 charge.
After 2 weeks, my camera was finally shipped, but with only the camera, one cleaning set and one lens without adapter. The full package should be: one G3 digital camera, two lenses, a free lens adapter and a free cleaning set.
By now, almost one week after my call, there is still no answers for the hidden $30 charge and no idea about when I can get the other lens and the lens adapter.
Definitly I won't "
"Just to add my voice to confirm that indeed you are heavily pressured to buy more items when you call to confirm your order. Was told "item only available as a package now" which was $400 more than the camera only price. Very irritating and a great time waste. Eventually received item 5 weeks after order. How can these guys stand this job?"
"I put an order for one unit Sony Digital Camera DSC-F717 on Feb 18, 2003. On that same day, I received an email from DigitalDealz to confirm that they had received my order (Order # 49785). Couple hours after I placed my order, I just found this website (resellerratings.com) and I just learned what kind of business I would deal with. It was a bit late, but I would like to know where my experience with them would go.
The next day (2/19/02 11:57AM), I received an email that I would need to call them to verify my order. I called them at 1.30PM CST, I spoke with Erick and he told me that my order would be processed within 72 hours. There was no offer for any kits nor accesories, so I thought they had changed their business attitude.
Today (2/23/02 01:35PM), I visited their website to find out that my order was still in process. I called them to check my order. I spoke with Tony. He was very rude. He told me that my camera was backordered, and he started to sell me camera kits I did not need. Learning from Reselerratings.com, I asked him whether ordering those deluxe kits would expedite my order, and rudely he said it would. When I told him that I did not want to order any kit, he told me that I would need to wait for another 14 days, because the camera woould only be sold as a package. What an old crap! I knew that there was no hope to get my order shipped, so I cancelled it. As expected, Tony was very happy to cancel my order, and within 10 seconds I received an email verifying my cancellation (well, I don't know if I would receive 20 more cancellation email..:)
Well, just stay away from them!! Don't do business with them, it will waste your time and effort. "
"I'm afraid I must add to all the discontent with this company. They really truly are bait-&-switch and should be avoided (it not prosecuted)."
"These guys screwed with me so badly I am not sure I will ever buy from a no-name online merchant again. Promised prompt delivery.... product never came. That didn't stop them from billing me immediately, however. Their 'verification' process turns into a haggling experience where they try to rip you off with overprices accessories. Nightmere... stay away. "
"My story is the same as so many others regarding DigitalDealz. I placed my order for a Canon G2 at the remarkably low price of $402(!) over the web last weekend. The web site said it was in stock, and I received an email confirming the order the next day -- a good sign, I thought.
Today, I received an email from them saying I needed to call for "verification" (whatever that means). So I called and was dumped into voicemail. Concerned that there was a problem with my order, I called 3 more times throughout the day before I actually reached a live person.
Derek, the customer "service" person on the other end of the phone then started upselling me on kits and additional compact flash cards. I repeatedly told him that I didn't want anything else, just the camera.
Finally, I asked if there was a problem with my order and he says no -- no problem. I then ask if he can give me an estimated delivery date. But, oh no! his computer just crashed. He'd have to contact the warehouse. So, I said I would hold. After about 15 minutes he comes back and says that it will take 3 weeks before they can ship it. It's out of stock. After some bickering about the fact that they were falsely advertising the fact that it was in stock, I asked to have my order cancelled.
So, I called back about 30 minutes later and asked if they had the G2 in stock (without mentioning that I had just cancelled an order for the G2). "George" told me yes, it is in stock and it will ship in 48 hours.
When I confronted him with the fact that I was just told that it wasn't and would take 3 weeks to ship, he started backpedalling, and said, "oh wait, I see now, it looks like it will take up to 8 weeks. But if you order the "Executive Kit" with the camera, it will ship today".
When I told him I was going to report his company to the FTC, he said, "If you don't have anything better to do with your _precious_ time, go right ahead, if that makes you feel better about yourself".
Needless to say, I will NEVER buy anything from this company. I will also be reporting them to the FTC (http://www.ftc.gov). And you should too if you've had the same experience."
"I purchased the G3 Canon camera from them with the expectations that they are shipping the product directly from their office. What I found out is that they are shipping from some 3rd party elsewhere that takes about 3 weeks for them to get plus the 3 weeks that it takes to ship to you. I hope I didn't make a mistake since I've read nothing but bad reviews from this company. I'll will update this review as the process comes to an end."
"Took order only after harassing call to add accessories. Raised price $100 to cover the rebate, though rebate is stated on order page it is made to appear as incentive to buy, not that the price reflects the rebate (initially order rings up as the lower price- they manually increase the price after the call). Derek said the item was in stock, after the 'verification' call they charged my card. I called to cancel on the 17th, Derek (ext 215) said I couldn't, the items had shipped. Said they would arrive Christmas eve didn't give me a tracking number. I said if they did I would accept them otherwise cancel the order.... blah blah blah, need I go on? Anyway, had to dispute with American Express, they never, and haven't yet, either sent anything or credited my card or returned my calls or my e-mails. They do (theoretically) business as cyberdealz, digitaldealz, and xestore. They are probably starting other names as I type. check the 1-***-***-**** before ordering with any online discount. Read the policy pages. They give NY, and specifically Brooklynites, a bad name. The attorney general in NY should be looking into them."
"I ordered a Sony camcorder on 12/14, agreeing to pay an outlandish ground transportation fee for 8 day delivery. On 12/23, I tried to track the order. The web site tracking doesn't work, so I called customer service, which is nothing but voice mails, one of which had its mailbox full. Ifinally called the sales people and got one of them to check the order. I was told it was back-ordered and would not be here for 3 weeks. I cancelled the order. It's hard to believe places like this stay in business."
"Scammers..... the worst on the Internet...
Rude rude RUDE
For 3 months i've had an order "IN PROCESSING" that has been cancelled a dozen times....
and they refuse to acknowledge it...
These people ruin the Internet........
Avoid this false internet front that calls themselves a discount camera shop...
You have a better shot buying the Brooklyn Bridge!
As an attorney, I'm just waiting for them to cross the line with my information...
I always wanted to own a little camera shop !
"
"I can't believe this company is still in business. No wonder they are changing their name to xestore.com. This is the first review I have felt compelled to write. Stay away from them. They have the honor of supplying me with the single worst internet buying experience I've ever had. Ordered a d550 camera from them. Then called in the verify the thing. The salesman on the other end said they did get the order, but was I aware that there was a special going on with the media card. Buy one 64 meg get one free. Then says " this isn't a high pressure sale or anything. just wanted to make you aware." I wasn't interested. Nor was I interested in the other accessories. Then he sighs and says. Well sir...I have to sell you an accessory for you to get this camera. (remember...this isn't a high pressure sale). I said Ok..what hoops do I have to jump through to get this thing by christmas. He said the memory card will do it. All said and done I got a memory card and camera for the cost of the camera elsewhere. Then it took no less than 7 days for the order to leave their store. The final day I called them up and told them cancel the order...unless they can tell me a tracking number. On hold for a minute...then he comes back with a tracking number that will not show up on fedex's system until 9 hours later. He shipped that thing while I was on the phone with him threatening to cancel. To their credit it arived in good shape 2 days later. But th buy one get one free memory deal.....look at olympus's site. It's buy a camera get a card free. Never needed to buy the first memory card. Run far and fast from these people. No matter what the price, they are not worth it. pay more and go to amazon. I would hate to think what the return dept is like."
"Very dissatisfied with service. Customer service is an answering machine. Merchandised promised delivery on 12-14, called on the 15th., was told merchandise was backordered until mid Jan. was never notified. I ended up cancelling the order."
"Bait and switch, rude, leave you on hold for 15 to 30 minutes at a time. This outfit is now restarting as the XeStore. Look out xestore.us Same phone number same rude Brooklyners."
"Ordered high end Sony Camcorder. They said I needed the accessory package. I said no. They gave me an order number and told me that it would ship on 12/8/02. After several attempts at e-mailing and telephoning, I reached them. They reveiwed the order and asked if I didn't want the accessory package. I said no. They said item is on indefinite back-order. I said cancel the order. They said they'd send me an e-mail confirmation of cancellation. They haven't yet."
