"I was of course very wary ordering a new lens online - let alone from Hong Kong. I wanted the 'Tokina AT-X 116 PRO DX II AF 11-16mm f/2.8 lens' for my D5100. Being such an expensive lens I decided to shop around for a better price, I found there were a few online stores that are registered in Hong Kong all with better prices than UK. Finally decided DigRev having read reviews as well doing a google earth street check to see if they were a high st store and they were - that gave me the confidence I needed to take the plunge! At £469.00 all in it is a great price, ordered monday, here by friday, all with constant feed back regarding delivery/tracking, fantastic. I will definately be ordering again for any expensive kit with confidence.... I suppose for cheaper consumable items/kit I would stay local though. "OK, my first review for DigitalRev and the product that I bought. EOS Canon 650D 18-135mm STM Kit with a bundle that included an extra batter LE-8, 16GB Extreme SDcard, HDMI cable, 67mm HOYA UV filter lens and a cleaning kit. All for £681. I think that was the best deal I could have got anywhere else in the UK. So price wise I think it was very competitive.

Service, I recieved the package bang on the estimated delivery date. Very securely packed in bubble wrap and was delivered unscatched.

This is my first SLR camera. I spent around 2-3months reviewing, thinking, testing and reviewing again. From the Nikons, Canons, Sony's, Pentax etc I finally narrowed down my search to Canon 7D, 60D and 650D. To getting started, I think I made a good choice given I'm not a photographer by profession.

I was a bit skeptic about the warranty bit, but DigitalRev does offer 1 year International Warranty which is what you would get anywhere else. Unless you spend more money to buy extended warranty. I never usually buy those warranty's as there is always a catch in the small print. Look what the big banks did with PPI huh!
