"I'm completey new to e-shopping in USA. Nevertheless I bought plenty online in Europe...
This purchse was my first enciunter in e-shopping and I gor very positively surprised!
My order was stuck for one day due to shipping incertainities (I have billing address in Europe and wanted shipment to USA) but after one call I received the order exactly as ordered in shipping choice.
The purchased equpement was shipped promptly, and with additional packings - very safe.
I do appreciate the competency of the store indeed.

"Very Satisfied. Read on.
If I had come to this site and had seen this store's score, I wouldn't have touched them with a 10-ft pole, either. Instead, I hadn't checked resellerratings first, I came to know of the store through one of their associates' participation in a forum I often read.
Kei's continued posts at the AVS Forum were extremely helpful, and often quick in reply. She's quick to help with product questions, especially for the product I was researching at the time.
I went to Digital Connection's site and placed my order. The shopping cart software they use is easy enough to use, and it's a very no-nonsense procedure. Their prices for hard drives and cables are competitive with NewEgg, which is great by me. Quick checkout, and we were done.
An hour later I received a phone message "Hello, this is Dustin from Digital Connection. Did you mean to order a SATA HD with your 4000? You should know the 4000 model isn't SATA-compatible."
"Aakk! No! I meant to order the 4100! Please let me correct my order??" I finally emailed back when I could at 10:14pm.
"Sorry, I can't correct it in the database; however, I can cancel the order for you." came the sales@ response at 11:55pm.
"Yes, please do. I'm sorry for my mistake." I emailed back at 12:15am.
At 12:45am came the response, "Done. You should get a cancellation notice," which I had receive exactly 2 minutes earlier. That's 12:43am. An unbelievable correspondence that I appreciate greatly.
When I woke up the next morning ;) I quickly re-carted my hot new TVIX-HD M-4100SH with the properly-paired SATA HD this time. The unit was expectedly on back-order, as DC properly reported on their website. I've found other merchants to also be all back-ordered, but this isn't shown on some other merchant's sites. I appreciate DC's confession and their site's inventory accuracy.
I highly recommend Digital Connection for their knowledge of the products they sell and for their helpful, understanding staff. Mine was a great experience."
"I had an overall flawless order experience with Digital Connection. Unlike the previous reviewer, I DID check here before ordering and although the rating was lackluster, I decided to take my chances since this merchant sells specialty items, which means fewer reviews and skewed results. I placed my order at 12:54 PM and received shipping confirmation with tracking number the same day at 4:20 PM. I was amazed! I received the order on schedule with zero problems. I got an unbelievable deal on an HD tuner card too."
"I quickly wanted to purchase a DViCO FusionHDTV5 Lite before the stock of the first shipment ran out. Very unusual of me, I did not check ResllerRatings first before buying. Let me just say, I'm GLAD I didn't. With a 0.83 Six-Month Rating and a 3.50 Lifetime Rating... I wouldn't have touched this place with a yard stick. But, I never checked the website, and on June 8th, before noon, purchased this card. The following day (June 9th), UPS ground delivered it around dinner time. This is the kind of service I usually get from Newegg, so wow was I surprised. I had some troubles with the card, but was able to go down to a local CC and pick up an HDTV antenna and watch the 1st game of the NBA Finals in HD. Very glad I made the purchase and went with Digital Connection!"
"I walked into their store in Huntington Beach to get a Fusion HDTV card. I was concerned that it may not work well on my PC, because many HDTV things don't work well on MS or Linux yet. I asked if I could return it without any problems, and they said "ok".
The card didn't work. I even reloaded my XP box with SP1 and SP2, but it still crashed the Fusion viewer app. More research indicated this happens to many folks. Is this a defect? I would say so, since it is unusable, and the software is needed for the hardware to work.
I called about 2 weeks after I bought the card and got an RMA. They were very short with me. I went in about a week later to return the card, and they took it and started the refund. As I left, I noticed the 15% restocking fee was enforced. They hadn't said anything about it. I know it is a common policy, but it is common courtesy to indicate to give me the option to keep it (if even just to sell it on eBay). As I mentioned it was essentially defective anyway.
I returned to the counter, and Steve told me he would not refund the 15% and when I asked for the card back to make a decision he said he was too busy and I'd have to come back some other time. Needless to say, he was very unprofessional. I may call my credit card company about this, but buyer beware Digital Connections."
"After twelve days of receiving my order confirmation e-mail, my order status is still "pending". Have yet to receive reply to my e-mail requesting a status update.
[update] Called in to check status, said that they just got their shipment in of my part, and that it would ship that day. Received tracking info a day later.
If I had to purchase through them again, I'd place the order by phone to check inventory, etc. "
"Purchased a htpc style computer case,
case was defective, digital connection
refused to refund my money.
In addition the case i purchased has a design
flaw where the 3.5" drive cage can come into
contact with the video card, and it fried
my $405 video card. Digital connection was
aware of this cases propensity to ruin
video cards, however they never warned their
customers about this.
Digital connections was very uncooperative,
refusing to authorize a return for the case
or help me deal with the manufacturer about
the ruined video card.
I would never do business with this company
again."
"I've made two purchases from Digital Connection, both around end of September/Early October 2004. On one occassion I purchased a LiteOn Airboard. It arrived quickly and well packaged. The second purchase was an HT400B HTPC case which came very well packaged, double boxed and was in beautiful condition. I had no problems with this retailer and would recommend them to a friend."
"A virtual nightmare. I placed my order by phone (viewed first on web). Big mistake. Despite giving my email to them, no effort was made to notify me of the order status. The product that I purchased did not work properly. None of their email addresses worked and I kept getting the answering machine when I called. No toll free number available either. They gave me two choices, send it back (I pay for shipping) for refund (less 15% restocking fee) or exchange it for another. I was not interested in doubling my $30 loss so I opted for the former."
"I ordered a low profile case, Audio Authority VGA to Component video converter, and a wireless keyboard on Saturday. All items are indicated as being in stock on their website. I did not receive an order confirmation via EMAIL. On Wednesday 6/04/03 I called Digital Connection on their 714 phone number and spoke with a gentleman who put me on hold for about 5 minutes to check the status of my order. He returned to say that everything is in stock, and as a matter of fact, the low-profile case had just arrived that day and that my order would be processed and shipped that day or first thing Thursday morning. When I got home from work on Wednesday, I had 2 emails from Digital Connections explaining that "one of my items" was out of stock...it did not indicate which item it was. Thursday morning I called and inquired about my order and was told that the Audio Authority 09A60 converter was out of stock and that they expected that I would receive it around 6/11/03. When i inquired as to why I was told the exact oposite the day prior, I was told "That guy is a part-timer and doesn't really know whats going on". My main complaint, aside from getting lied to directly, is that it took them 4 business days to inform me that the converter was out of stock. I ordered multiple products from Newegg a day after (6/1/03) I did from Digital Connection, and not only do I have the products IN MY HANDS right now, I was informed of the process from the get go. Digital Connections website leaves a lot to be desired. They provide no tracking information (not that I even would have a tracking number right now anyways), when you check on the status of your order you are greeted with a simple "PENDING" explanation... etc. While I am not pulling my hair out over this week delay, it certainly isn't the most professional operation over there. I, personally, will not be ordering from these folks again. There are too many EXCELLENT online venders ( Newegg, Googlegear, Cuttingedgecasemods) to have to deal with this unprofessionalism. And the LIE only helped to solidify my position on this.
As for the good: The people there evidently are american and speak very good English. There is no difficulty getting through to them (though they didn't answer this morning until 9:30am when their website and voicemail states they open at 9:00am). Their prices seem decent (the wireless keyboard I got at a steal, while the 09A60 converter cost $20 more than another online vendor I located AFTER I placed this order (I am considering concelling the order completely and going with this other company).
Overall i am SOMEWHAT DISSATISFIED with my experiences with Digital Connection. "
"I placed an order for a Home Theater PC Case, the day after I received confirmation of the order I was told it was on back order, and that it would ship in about 3 days, it actually took about 5 days before they shipped it. When I received it ( on a Saturday ) I discovered the VFD display that was supposed to be included was not installed, on Saturday evening I sent email to tell them about the missing VFD. They responded very quickly. On Monday morning I received a phone call about the missing display an was told that they would send one out immediately by 2 day Airborne. I received the missing display the very next day (Tuesday). Overall I was very pleased with the quick way they handled the missing VFD display. I will definitely buy from this company again."
"Placed order on 1/26/2003. Was sent email three days later that part was backordered until 2/10/2003. Sent email on 2/18/2003 inquiring about the order. Received no response. Just sent an email to cancel the order."
"Easy to use website... responsive sales department (email) and fast shipping on an international (Canada) order. No complaints, I got what I wanted quickly and in one piece."
"I purchased a HDTV card and cable from this company. After placing the order, I changed my mind about the order, and sent 4 separate e-mails to ask for an RMA for the return. They charge a 15% restocking fee, which I would have paid, but I didn't ever receive any response from them on any of my queries. They had fast delivery, but their customer service after the sale is non-existant. I will find other suppliers for my HDTV needs in the future."
