"We ordered 16 new magellan gps units for christmas gifts online via trusteddealer.com the order was confirmed without a problem. Later that day I received a call from a personclaiming to be the president of the company digital delivered (one of several names this company operates under-- red tag savings is another DBA). He advised me that they would not ship my order unless I purchase an additional extended warrantee from them for each unit at an excessively high price. i advised that the terms and conditions at the time of purchase didn't include this as a requirement and that this was a bait and switch. His tactics became very heavy handed, and his story continued to change. I felt as if I was being extorted to purchase more in order to receive the goods I had paid for. This "president" made some pretty inaccurate claims about the size of his business and his reputation. In looking him up, I discovered that he has a terrible track record with the Better Business Bureau, and a "unsatisfactory rating". Also, I discovered this person was not the President or owner that is registered with these agencies as he claimed. Also in looking at his business it is a small office upstairs from an vacant storefront. There are many reasons to be warry of this business based on my dealings. I would caution anyone to check carefully before purchasing. This had all the hallmarks of a deceptive and unethical business.
I contacted a reporter to look into what I suspected to be illegal, and following the reporters inquiries, Mr. Marcus called me and attempted to "make this go away" and tried to honor the original sale (saying he was going to do this as a "favor" to me). I told him to cancel the purchase, and he agreed. He has not returned any of the emails or calls to confirm that I have not been charged and the sale is cancelled.

"Ordered a NEW digital camera, sent me a 'refurbished' one with the wrong accessories - then told me they wer yet to come. I returned the camera and cancelled my accessories that they had already screwed up and bought the camera as a graduation gift elsewhere. It took me forever to contact customer service. They were open maybe 3 hours a day 3 days a week. When I finally talked to the owner, he told me he was 'out driving his Porsche and didn't have time to deal with all the customers'. All in all besides a huge waste of time, it cost me $90 I never got back even though I disputed it with numbskulls at Amex - they wouldn't fully reimburse me. I hope that Brooklyn/Bronx company burns in eternal hell."
"This place was an absolute scam. I received refurbed equipment, then they refused to accept it back without me paying a restocking fee! Went through a real mess with them, and had to write a letter to the NY attorney general and cause a big fuss. Got my money back, finally. No apologies from them, but their management did yell at me at one point. Also, they fake reviews on Epinions, so if you see lots of brief positive reviews there, be warned THEY ARE NOT REAL. Terrible, terrible, dishonest place."

I tried purchasing a street navigator from DD and when I called to check on my order, they pushed an extended warranty on me. When I refused to purchase an extended warranty, they sent me an email telling me my product was "out of stock." The BBB will be hearing from me..."
"I ordered my item on Thursday October 13. On Sunday October 15 I received a call from someone claiming the credit card expriation number I entered online was wrong. I knew this probably wasn't true but I went ahead and gave him the correct number and then I found out why he was really calling, to try and push an extended warranty on me. The guy was pushy even after I had said "no" five times. After reading negative reviews of this merchant, I started to get worried about the state of my order. On Tuesday I called the 800 number to check up on my order and got a message that the store would be closed Tuesday and Wednesday but they did give an email address you could email to check on orders. So Tuesday afternoon I sent an email and got a response Wednesday morning that the item had shipped on Monday. Still nervous, I called on Thursday to confirm the item had shipped. They assured me it had and I would receive it on Monday the 24th. Lo and behold, I received it last night (Thursday the 20th) and it was in perfect brand new condition. All in all, I would not recommend this merchant to others simply because of the extended warranty debacle. It just turned me off to the whole thing."
"Delivery was fast. But then it all fell apart when I need a copy of the receipt to get the camera serviced. I called and the rep asked for my phone number and said they would mail it to me. Well, 2 weeks later no receipt. I started calling again on 8/22 then they said they would fax it that day..NO FAX CAME. I called back again on 8/23 same story, they would fax it that day..AGAIN NO FAX. Then I called back on 8/24, again, same old story and again no fax. On 8/25 I called again and now they start hanging up on me or putting me thru to a voiceless voice mail box. They even stopped answering the phone. OH Yes and each time I called I was put on hold for over 15 minutes. On 8/26 I then got bold, I cut and pasted about 20 bad reviews into an email and I told them how I was going to contact every TV News channel that had a consumer complaint division and the BBB and guess what!!!!! My receipt was then sent by fax......But the crazy thing was that they emailed me back and told me that when I contact the TV News stations and the BBB to make sure I told them I gave them the wrong date and they couldn't find my information. I told them December 2 (the day my card was billed) but I called in November 30. Who would remember such minute information.

"DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS COMPANY UNLESS YOU WANT TO SPEND WEEKS OF FRUSTRATION TO NEVER RECEIVE YOUR PRODUCT OR A REFUND. I purchased two digital cameras from this store for immediate shipment more than a month ago. After several calls, promises, and confirmation emails that my order was shipped, it never arrived. Digital Delivered never provided a Fedex number and finally told me they did not have the items in stock so it could not be shipped. The online invoice does not even match the pricing for my order which was attributed to "computer problems" at their offices. Alan Markus (General Manager) authorized a refund last week however I have yet to receive it. I am now forced to initiate a Fraud Investigation with American Express as well as a formal complaint with the BBB."
"The owner/general manager called me and berated me over the phone for returning an extra battery I had ordered with my digital camera. He said he wanted the camera back too. "Initially I purchased a Kodak 7530 digital camera. I received a Kodak 7430. I returned the camera. I called them later in the day to change the order to an Olympus C60. No problem. The Olympus arrived in due time with a major scratch on the camera body, obviously from a defective camera cover slide. In addition there were other minor scratches on the body and by one body screw. Like the Kodak the Olympus came in a plain white box without an invoice and without a warranty. I called Diditaldelivered several times about all of this and although customer service was very nice neither the warranty, nor the invoice were sent as they said they would be at least a couple of times. They never denied that this was not a new camera even though, a new camera was advertised. It seems many of these internet companies have their own scam going and each has a different approach. Avoid this company and other not known companies. Pay a little more! Know what your getting and avoid problems."
"I had an Olympus C5050 that was in perfect shape and I Ebayed it because I purchased a D70 and wanted to buy some monolights.
Long story short. MISTAKE.
Wanted one back, but wanted another new one. After finding one on DigitalDelivered, I pulled the trigger. Now BEWARE of DigitalDelivered!!!!!!!!! Crooks, to the bone. They advertised a Brand New Factory Fresh C5050 in stock. I even called them to assure that it was Brand New. The guy was RUDE and basically told me to quit worrying and I would be pleased when I got it. OK. I got it and low and behold the box was not the blue USA box I had before. Also it looked like it had been through a war. I opened the box and the camera was NO WAY new and several deep scratches on the LCD. So I called Digital Delivered back and man what a bunch of rude liars. The only guy that was decent was the customer return guy. He even told me that it looked like I received a refurbished one by mistake, (We will replace when you return it). NO WAY. REFUND PLEASE. Beware of these guys!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Nothing in my dealing with them contained an ounce of truth.
BEWARE: RUDE, ITEM WAS NOT NEW AND NOT EVEN IN GOOD CONDITION, AND NO OLYMPUS WARRANTY CARD IN THE BOX.
