"They sent me an email to confirm my order. After 3 weeks, I did not receive any information about my order. When I call them, they told me I have to wait for another 3 weeks due to back order this camera. I don't know why someone says something good about digital outlets.com

Impressive Servce

"I had ordered a 70 -200mm lens for my nikon DSLR. I apparently had chosen a lens for a 35mm film camera. The fact that someone thought I might have accidentally chosen the wrong lens is so appreciated. I received an email that i Needed to call before my order shipped. I was given the option to cancel my order. Another company probably wold not have cared. Thank you for excellent customer care. You WILL be getting future business from me. "

""Here is my unsatisfactory experience with DigitalOutlets.net:

I purchased a Nikon D610 body from DigitalOutlets.net on March 9th 2016. I was pretty excited for the opportunity to use the camera as soon as possible.

On March 15th, I got an “Important Information About Your Order” email. I know the whole bait and switch method that DigitalOutlets.net business model is based off of. Their intent is to notify you that the camera doesn’t come with a battery or charger. I notified them I don’t want their high priced battery and charger because I already have one. All the reviews say the same thing. Again i called to inform that in the specs says "included battery" and the customer service told me "sorry is our mistake". I felt that I was starting to get somewhere, but was uneasy about the purchase.

On March 31st, I filed a dispute with my credit card company because I started to feel even more uncomfortable. I was reading more and more reviews about this website, their products, and their customer service from sources and many customers had the same experience as what I was having, so I continued to keep communication open through email and phone calls.

On April 9th, I called DigitalOutlets and asked if the product that I purchased had shipped. The gentleman said that it will ship on the 13th of April and I’ll receive a tracking number via email and should have it in my hands on Friday the 15th or Saturday the 16th. At this point in the process, i´m waiting two products, a body camera and a lens, But only arrived the lens on April 18th, five weeks after my purchase, but never arrived the camera. I called DigitalOutlets and they said that I’ll receive a tracking number on Wednesday, April 20th and have the product in my hands either on Friday April 22nd or Monday, April 25th. Up until this point, they have not mentioned to me that there is a backorder on this product. I asked where I’m at in line to receive the product that I purchased and they said I’m close in line. The gentlemen also said that products don’t ship on Saturdays and that is also when I was told that I would receive the product. I’ve been misled by this company multiple times and I’m extremely frustrated by how many times I’ve been lied to and given false hope that my product might actually be delivered. As a side note, I also contacted a person who wrote a review to see if these reviews were made up since they all say the same thing and are all positive. She did respond saying she wrote the review after her purchase, but before the product has been delivered and she also has the same nervousness about how she has not received her product yet as I do.

Overall, I am extremely unsatisfied with DigitalOutlets relating to their reliability, customer service, product availability, follow through, and overall business structure. If you want great customer service I suggest crutchfield.com- I have never had a bad experience with them and their customer service is phenomenal. I’m about a month into this purchase with DigitalOutlets, my money gone and no product in my hands. At this point, I give DigitalOutlets a one star because that’s as low as I can go. I will never purchase anything from this company ever again.

Research before you buy and be sure too look at small print

"Copy of my BBB Complaint. They are using 1stopbedrooms as the business they charge!!! Do NOT BE SCAMMED LIKE ALL OF US HERE

1. Description of Complaint: Bought camera on Saturday and called as had product questions but were closed and also noted on AMEX charges stated 1STOPBEDROOMS.COM when product was bought from website digitaloutlets.net/canon… . When calling on 1st business day open David asked if we had another form of payment rather than an American express card to process faster. Stated no and then called back to cancel as I did not feel comfortable with purchase. Camera stated in small misleading Import model but did not give further information. Website states 21 day satisfaction guaranteed but in fine print on return tabs states 10% cancel fee. Asked to talk to supervisor and David whom is at extension 101 stated that he was owner. I Dominic Cota stated that this would result in a bad review and then he threatened to release my information on the web. I stated that I would contact BBB and also called my bank to report. Product was charged $1399.00 then additional $1.01 in which I am not sure why.

1. Desired Settlement: Refund
2. Desired Outcome Description: I do not want to be contacted by business nor be charged 10% which I will dispute with my bank as they were not available for purchase. I would like for this confusion of misleading the customer so other consumers do not have to encounter these complications.

PS THEY HAVE A DIFFERENT AREA CODE NUMBER AND LOCATION that DONT MATCH UP

Internet Fraud

"I have placed order with Diditaloutlets.net At the beginning I payed $1,348.00 for 2 items that are Nikon D610 digital camera and Nikon Nikon AF-S Nikkor DX 18-300mm G ED VR Lens. When several days later I called them to find out my order status I was told that I bought wrong items. They told me that Nikon camera is made for non USA use and made of plastic and does not have a USA warranty, And Nikon lens that I ordered is not for digital photo camera but made for film camera. I wanted to cancel order but I was told that they are going to charge me 10% for cancellation and if i want to buy correct items I have to pay additional $729. I payed this amount as well. Now on their site they are giving tracing number but when I went on the UPS site it is written that label was created but item is not shipped yet. I am unable to find anything out by phone because the put my on hold and never return to answer my questions. So now the total price I have payed is $2077 and I an not sure if they are going to sip my order at all.When I am calling them they put me on hold for ever. So you do not have any opportunity to contact them or return your money. As I found out online a lot of people has the same scenario.
They list a product well below market value to get your attention via google search or other internet advertising. You then go to their site and order the product. They then send you an email saying that a rep will call you back to verify the order. They call you back to tell you that you have ordered the wrong product and that you need to order the correct product which is actually much more expensive. If you want to cancel order they are going to charge 10% of the order price.So they always make a money even if you cancel your order. It is time to attract attention to the so called businessman.

I purchased a Canon 5d Mark III from DigitalOutlets.net on March 27th. I was pretty excited for the opportunity to use the camera as soon as possible.

On March 29th, I got an “Important Information About Your Order” email. I know the whole bait and switch method that DigitalOutlets.net business model is based off of. Their intent is to notify you that the camera doesn’t come with a battery or charger because it is the “grey import” model. I notified them I don’t want their high priced battery and charger because I already have one. All the reviews say the same thing. I also mentioned that the price dropped another $50 since I purchased it. They were happy to credit $50 to my account. I felt that I was starting to get somewhere, but was uneasy about the purchase.

On March 31st, I filed a dispute with my credit card company because I started to feel even more uncomfortable. I was reading more and more reviews about this website, their products, and their customer service from sources and many customers had the same experience as what I was having, so I continued to keep communication open through email and phone calls.

On April 7th, I called DigitalOutlets and asked if the product that I purchased had shipped. The gentleman said that it will ship on the 13th of April and I’ll receive a tracking number via email and should have it in my hands on Friday the 15th or Saturday the 16th. At this point in the process, I’m a week and a half into the purchase and all I’ve seen is the money taken out of my credit card account for my camera purchase and no credit of the $50 return to my account.

On April 18th, three weeks after my purchase, I still don’t have the product. I called DigitalOutlets and they said that I’ll receive a tracking number on Wednesday, April 20th and have the product in my hands either on Friday April 22nd or Monday, April 25th. Up until this point, they have not mentioned to me that there is a backorder on this product. I asked where I’m at in line to receive the product that I purchased and they said I’m close in line. Update 05/02/2016
After I left this review, DigitalOutlets said that I didn't do business with them which would take away my review. I provided proof that I did do business with them which allowed this post.

I called DigitalOutlets on April 27th. They said that my product shipped and that I would have it in my hands by April 29th or May 2nd and I would have an email confirmation 48-hours prior to receiving.

Today it's the 29th and I didn't receive the product. I called and they said that it's company policy that they cancel orders if you give them negative feedback. Hopefully I'm not lied to on when I will get my refund. All I asked the customer representative is that they don't lie to their customers. He said that it's on their shipping policy that products ship 6-8 weeks. He said that he will send the shipping policy which I asked for because the shipping policy link DOESN'T WORK. That's where the miss communication is. Their shipping policy isn't displayed on their website. Therefore, my "Buy now... Receive in over a month" review is true. I just wish I would have known.
