"We placed our first order #14495 on 11/22/2013 via DirectAquarium.com. A few weeks passed with no change to the order status, so we emailed them. Finally, on 12/5/2013, the order was marked as shipped. On 12/16/2013, we receive a response from Jeff Demers, ****@**** claiming:
It looks like the item was returned to us unaccepted? We have refunded the order as of right now. If you still need the item - please reorder on the site and notate that you will waive the delivery signature. Sorry for the hassle. I am sure you are rightly anxious to get these items.
This is rather odd, considering we receive deliveries daily, from UPS, FedEx, and/or USPS. All of our carriers have our signature on file to leave packages in our specified secured location should no one be present to sign. In any case, they would have left a door tag. DirectAquarium.com issued a refund.
We placed a second order #14552 on 12/18/2013. A couple weeks had passed, and on 1/7/2014, we sent an email DirectAquarium.com, asking where our second order was. This was met with zero communication. We logged into the website to discover that our second order had been cancelled a week earlier with zero communication stating there was ever a problem or that the cancellation took place. The order never even made it to shipping. Upon referencing our account, we discovered the second payment was refunded.
This company is a hot mess, full of great prices and empty promises. Buyer beware. We recommend shopping elsewhere with a good track record of order fulfillment and customer service."

After doing some research also realized this guy owns Direct Aquarium which has terrible reviews from the BBB.
I guess I should have done my research first but I will get my money back one way or the other.

"Placed an order that was indicated as in stock and paid immediately via PayPal. 10 days later the order status on their website continued to indicate "in process". Called their customer service number several times but never got to a human, left voice mails. Several days later I send them an email asking for status. No response to that inquiry either. As of now I am out of pocket almost $300. My next step is to contact PayPal and open a claim. Very frustrating! "
