"Terrible service. I placed an order which was in stock but received an e-mail the next day stating that they could not send it due to being out of stock. I looked back on the website and of course the item still shows "in stock". I tried to call and email but no one got back to me. And they held my money for almost a week before finally getting it back to me so I had to Waite that much longer before I could order through another company. Avoid this retailer if you care about your hard earned money!!!"

"When first looking for an inverter, I saw Direct Depot had great prices, but no real history. I saw that they were US-based, which made me feel a little more comfortable (not a scammer... and could get my money back from my credit card if needed), and decided to try it out.
Turns out, it was a good choice. The communication with the company was excellent (I initially ordered the wrong item... oops.. and then forgot to add some cables...) and the service was excellent. I received my items quickly (about 2-3 days) with the inexpensive flat rate shipping. Everything works great, and I plan on ordering from them again."

July 27TH 13 days since I placed my order. Now I received
an E-Mail stating that my item is out of stock. The E-Mail
read " Sorry but the item you ordered is out of stock and
will not be shipped for 2-3 weeks. for this reason your order has been cancelled.Please check back at a later date"
Very confusing, if my order has been cancelled why are they
shipping it in 2-3 weeks? It would seem at the time I
placed my order they would know if it was in stock or not.
