"The Value Brand track light fixtures I bought needed a minor modification to properly fit the track. These fixtures were for the HT track system, and although they don't specify it, they can work on both single circuit and two circuit tracks. That's nice.

However, the spacing between opposing contacts is about .025 inches too wide and excessive force is require to mount them in the track. I could not get them to fit into my existing Halo track at all. I measured the contact spacing on my existing Halo fixtures (HT system) and it was about .025 inches less than the fixtures I bought. I filed the contacts down and now they fit well, and are still nicely tight, in all the tracks.

I would buy these fixtures again, they seem to be made as well as the Halo ones and work and look fine. They can be forced into the Value Brand tracks, but they bend it outward substantially in doing so. It looks light a slight design error to me. They ought to also fit the other, quite common, Halo HT track."
