"Ordered and received a refurbished Dell desktop. A week after it arrived it crashed. I had to return it via UPS to Texas for repair. Three weeks later I get it back repaired. (so I'm told) I turn it on and five minutes later it crashes again. You can't speak to anyone there because they don't answer the phone. All corespondence is by e mail. I tell them that it once again the situation. I ask them to send me a replacement. They totally **** off. I had to dispute the charges with the bank and now order from another source. I didn't need a new PC or a lot of bells and whistles so I thought I'd give them a try. I also understand things happen so I wasn't too upset the first time around but when they ignored me the second time around it really bothered me. I don't normally do reviews but this company deserves a bad one. Go to a different source. "

"This company has NEVER answered the phone and email communication tends to be generic and unfruitful. EUGENE and JOE (or their customer service staff in general) are not working in the best interest of the company and could careless about making any sales. I've contacted them multiple times requesting a discounted rate if I purchased HUNDREDS of their units in bulk, but both kept giving me BS responses saying they " can't discount anything at the moment." This isn't logical, considering that it would cost THOUSANDS of dollars to ship out each individual unit to hundreds of customers and my bulk order would only cost a few hundred. Now I'm forced to take my business elsewhere. "
"About a year ago I purchased a Dell Latitude E7440 laptop. I initially had problems with the keyboard. A call to the service center had a quick response. I was sent a new keyboard, at no cost, with instruction how to replace the old one. When I asked if I failed with that fix, I was told I should return the entire computer with the new keyboard, again at no cost. As it turned out I was successful in my repair job.
I have used the laptop since then with no problems. I have recommended Discount Electronics to those who tell me they need a good computer at a very good price. If I ever need another laptop, I will first look at your offerings. Thanks!"

"I've been purchasing good used computers from Discount Computers on Anderson at 183 for some 7 years now. I like to have 2, one upstairs and 1 down, so 2 good, used computers is what I prefer. I see them as good used cars.
Each computer has served me well, and better, when I do have an issue with one (seldom), I've found the service people very happy to help. Today I took in my older computer because suddenly it would not boot. Patrick determined the hard drive was OK and said it must be the bios. As I was about to turn this machine in anyway, he took the hard drive out and encased it for me so I could continue to organize the data it held before shifting that data to the newer machine. Equally important, Patrick was able to give me clear answers to questions that were stumping me, so I can do better. I will continue to go here. Thanks to you, Patrick and all the fine staff who've preceeded you."

Took my laptop in this morning because wi-fi was not working - Patrick in Service showed me a switch that I did not know about and immediately resolved my problem - no muss - no fuss - no charge - my experience here has usually been very much the same as today - knowledgeable, friendly, professional staff who are a pleasure to do business with"
"Bought 2 used video cards $100 last year, they only had 2 in stock. They shipped one to me.
When I received it I went to their website and saw the same one for sale. I waited a day and called them, told them I only received 1 of them.
After review, the shipping weight of the package they sent, wouldnt have been possible to contain 2, they agreed to send me the one they just posted for sale,
the one I paid for but didnt receive. I wrote it off as a mistake on their part.
More recently I decided to give them another chance, test the waters before makin g any more expensive computer purchase.
So I read the reviews then took a chance on the 2 laptops offer. Both are boat anchors, heavy old windows xp clunkers stripped of all ram, hard drives, batteries,
dirty, definitely not worth the shipping cost, not worth repairing. I buy alot of computers and parts from other stores, as it is my life. I'd say after these 2 purchases from Discount Electronics,
that I will never take a chance on them again and purchase anything from them, ever!. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone. "
