"Wow..What junk they sell. Bought a compressor, had my ASE Certified mechanic install. Unit lasted a week and started leaking. Contacted Discount AC Parts. They did not want to stand behind the product. I had to go to the supplier and get a receipt where my mechanic bought a dryer to prove one was installed when compressor was swapped. They sent a replacement when I paid an up front deposit. Replacement was installed. I had to pay labor again along with purchasing another dryer. Air was never really cold. Had AC checked today (16 months later) compressor has failed again. Compressor will not hold a charge and is leaking like the last one. Had to pay my mechanic again (3rd time) to remove and install a compressor, dryer and expansion valve. I let my mechanic get a good, new compressor and parts from a different supplier with a 3 year warranty this time. I spent $400 with Discount AC Parts for compressor, shipping, another compressor and a dryer, plus the $70 for the first dryer (total $470) I paid my mechanic $230 for replacing the compressor, dryer, etc. twice ($460). That's a total of $930 for an AC system to work for 16 months. I just paid to have this system replaced again ($875). Should have just done that in the first place. Don't buy products from Discount AC Parts, they don't last! "
