"Ordered the part they said they had and then got an email saying it was out of stock. A couple days later they said they had it again but it was listed for 100.00$ more than it had been. They should have it offered it to me for the original price. It was not on sale and no coupon, they had just upped the price, probably because it was an in demand product as many sites were sold out."
"I needed to order new headlights for my wife’s Toyota Matrix, so I went online and found a decently priced set at Discount Body Parts. I was careful to make sure it was the right part, and took screenshots of the site to make sure. I called to confirm that I was ordering two headlights, and that the order number was correct, and the person who answered told me that I was correct on both. When the lights arrived, they looked right so I removed the existing headlight on the Matrix, which involved removing the fender and part of the lower fender, then tried to install the new headlight, but it didn’t fit. So I called the company, and the person who answered asked me a lot of questions about how I determined that I was ordering the correct part, and how I got the part number, etc. then she told me that the part number that I ordered were for a Toyota Celica, not a Matrix, so they wouldn’t be able to accept them back. I checked my screenshots, and the part number I ordered and received was listed as belonging to the Toyota Matrix, not the Celica. Finally I convinced her to accept the return, and she told me the correct part would be an additional $50. Personally, if I owned a company and had the wrong part number on a part listed online, and caused my customer as much trouble as this caused me, I would have made an even exchange to keep the customer happy; but that was not an option. Anyway, they said they would accept the return, and would send me the information I’d need. A week later the email hadn’t been received, so I had to call back and they didn’t have record of my previous misadventures. Finally they did send an email with the return information, and they told me my refund would be sent up to 10 business days after they received the returned headlights. I am totally disgusted with Discount Body Parts. I am asked to tag my review with a choice of Shipping, Product, Payment, Technical Support, Customer Service, or Service, but no option for “All of the Above”."
