"At Discount Car Lights, I found a great price on a replacement fog light for a car I was selling... I didn't want to spend a lot of money on this car anymore, but I didn't want to sell it without all of the lights working, either.

My only knock on the experience was that apparently I put in the wrong expiration date on my credit card when I completed the purchase. This caused the transaction to be declined, as you would expect. However, most other sites I've shopped on, the site itself is smart enough to determine that there is something wrong with your information, and it gives you the opportunity to correct the error before you leave the site.

Their site accepted my order (placed on a Friday) and on Monday I get a voicemail from someone saying they had a problem with my info and I need to call back. So I call back tot he number that was called from, and got shuffled around to three different people before I found someone who was able to take my corrected info down and correct the error. It was also strange that I had to give each person different info in order for them to dig me up. One I had to give my phone # to, another they needed my e-mail address to search for me. I ended up spending about 20 minutes on the phone, trying to correct a very simple typo.

Once the error was corrected, the part arrived the very next day as expected, so otherwise it seems these folks have their act together other than the snafu I described above."

"Have not had an opportunity to install light to make sure it is correct due to extreme snowy weather. However, the service was prompt and quick. I received an order confirmation within minutes, received fedex shipping number within hours and received product two business days later. Snow to stop today, hopefully will have light installed this weekend. If it fits I will definitely recommend their service. A brand new light with shipping and tax was cheaper then my local salvage yard for a used light by $15 dollars."
