"I believe that the salesman, Austin, from Discount Spas, knew he was selling me a lemon hot tub. He emphasized several times to call the service number on the contract for Signature Spas in Tennessee "if there's anything wrong" with the tub. That should've been a red flag to me but, unfortunately, I didn't put 2 and 2 together until after it was delivered, filled, and...started leaking.
It was made by Signature Spas in Tennessee, who are nice people, but do nothing to help out. They did send me a section of hose to replace the section leaking. From then on, that's been about it. They finally--6 weeks later--agreed to reimburse me for hot tub repairs as they finally admitted they have no service contracts with anyone in Tucson, Arizona.
I had the hot tub repairs, which I paid for and am waiting for reimbursement, while in the meantime, the hot tub STILL LEAKS. Now I can't get the company to respond to me, either.

"I will start by saying l was very fortunate to have won an awesome swim spas from Spas Direct in December last year (2017) So for anyone who might ne wondering about the many Spas Direct Giveaways... "YES" they are real.
We were kept well informed regarding delivery date etc etc and the swim spa arrived in a very well packaged timber crate, bubble wrap and plastic. It was in perfect cosmetic order and now that we have it wired up and filled with water we can say that this "Master Swim Spa" is fantastic... heaps of pressure from the jets, terrific heater and all round just brilliant.

"I ordered a spa cover from them and had it shipped to my house. When contacted by the shipper to deliver, I realized that their windows for delivery didn't match my schedule, so I requested delivery without signature. Took two extra weeks and daily phone calls and emails between discount spas direct, echo shipping, and forward air to get them to release the spa cover with no signature required. Every attempt to contact discount spas direct via phone only resulted in voicemail, and 5 out of 7 emails to them went unanswered. Doubtful I will ever order anything from them again."
"After viewing 100's of mixed reviews, my husband and I decided to purchase our hot tub through Discount Spas Direct. We couldn't have been happier! Our Hot tub/Spa was delivered 2 weeks and 3 days from date of purchase, a lot earlier than we were expecting. The hot tub/Spa was delivered as promised in a truck with a lift gate. The only hiccup on delivery, was the hot tub/spa was too big to sit on the lift gate. Through shipping the pallet got damaged, so it proved to be difficult to easily slide to the lift gate. I would suggest a much sturdier well built pallet for something weighing 1100 punds. After much perseverance and a very helpful delivery truck driver, my husband and I were able to off load the hot tub. After that, we moved our hot tub to it's location with the ease of our trailer. Hook up was done and the hot tub performed as the manual said. Once turned on, we turned on the pumps one at a time to prime them, within 15 minutes the hot tub started to heat up. It took about 10 hours to heat to from 48 degrees to 95 degrees with and outside temperature of 48 degrees. The one thing we had difficulty finding was the switch to turn on the hydrotherapy lights, it was not mentioned in the manual, nor indicated on the spa itself. We found it in the box for the mp3 player. We hooked up music through the blue tooth and the sound quality was great. We were able to enjoy our hot tub within 24 hours of delivery and set up. The one thing I would suggest, is to run some clear caulk around the spa controls, as it leaked when water ran over from the waterfall. We really enjoyed being able to relax in the hot tub and our 6yr old had enough room to move around. We purchased the G20K for it's size and health benefits. The staff at Discount Spas Direct were very friendly and helpful during the entire process. I know there are many negative reviews out there for Discount Spas Direct. I wanted to make sure I took the time to post a positive review. I would recommend to anyone looking to purchase a Spa, without breaking the bank, to purchase through Discount Spas Direct. "

This is the second time I've bought a spa cover from discountspasdirect.com. My first Prestige spa cover lasted 4-1/2 years with only a 1 year warranty, it eventually split down the middle. My new "classic spa cover" on the website is made by Prestige, a good company. I notice on the website they claim it has "5 year manufacturer's warranty !" . HOWEVER, that only applies to the insulation not absorbing water, the cover itself has a ONE YEAR warranty. This is very misleading! Well, it's plain lying.
This aside, I did receive my new cover and it's top quality, great price, free shipping, and no tax. And I expect that it will last almost 5 years.
Their biggest downfall is lack of communication. My confirmation email said it would ship in 5-10 days and they'd notify me. After 10 days passed, I replied to the order confirmation email (****@****), and it bounced! I called and left a message, and the next day I got a shipment confirmation information email (from ****@****), and it was delivered per the details in that email.
So, they have a good product (Prestige spa cover - drop shipped from the manufacturer) at a good price. If you are patient and don't sweat not hearing from them, you'll do OK, So I gave them 4/5 stars for lack of communication and misleading warranty information. Keep in mind that my one year cover lasted 4-1/2 years. If you prefer lots of communication from a company that actually has a mailing address on their website (these guys don't), then go somewhere else, and you'll likely pay a little more for peace of mind.

"I ordered a cover on the 16th and paid in full for it. A couple weeks went by and I received an email asking for exact dimensions. I was in the processing of moving and so it took me maybe another week to call with the dimensions. When I called they had already took it upon themselves to order the wrong dimensions. I spoke with a lady named Lianna Lawson who more less told me I am stuck with it. She will not return any of my 5 phone messages I have left. I have refused delivery and now I'm left with no cover and minus $289.00 in my bank account.. Do not order from this company!"
