"I bought this dish thinking I could use it for my background, myrv etc and when I went to set it up in my background it wouldnt work because I had trees. The dish only works at a 30 degree angle so if you have big trees, even if they are 40 yards back you most likely will not get service. This will only work in a wide open field. If you camp like I do in wooded areas then this dish is useless.

Tailgating I am sure it will work in a big parking low, or if you go to a campground that is wide open then it might be worth buying. Just be mindful that you need a pretty wide open space. Cars or signs or trees or even people can block the signals.

The worse part is that they do not pay for you to ship it back. So you will be stuck paying $100 in shipping cost.

Not really worst getting unless you camp in wide open areas or if you will use for just tailgating. "
