"on 3-11-2011 i ordered some equipment inc. flashlights for a dive i was going on 04-01-2011. i noticed after a few days that my account had been charged but the equipment had not shipped. i contacted phil ellis by phone as he did not return e-mails. phil stated the lights i ordered were on backorder so i asked him to either swap them for a brand he had in stock same price or ship the other equipment and cancel the lights. after several days and no delivery i again contacted phil who stated that the equipment had been shipped by us postal service and should arrive any day. i waited three more days and called again on 03-28-11 to find out where my gear was as i had 4 days before i left for my trip. phil again said it should be there and that he would find out and call me back and again i never heard from him. it is now 4-1-11 and i am leaving for my dive trip with none of the gear i ordered from divesports.com nor any idea where or when it will arrive. i am very disapointed in their customer service or lack there of. i would recomend if you need equipment you find another shop to deal with."

"My wife ordered two scuba diving “boat coats” from Dive Sports, Inc in the beginning of November 2010 for Christmas presents. We paid with our credit card in full and the amount was billed to our account. Six weeks later my wife contacted Mr. Phil Ellis via email about not receiving the shipment. Phil Ellis wrote back and told us that the boat coats were shipped through the US Postal Service and he would check on them personally to see what was going on. In the middle of January, my wife emailed Mr. Ellis again to see what the issue was and how it was going to be resolved. Mr. Ellis wrote another email back saying that he shipped out another set of boat coats and that the first set was “returned” from the US Postal Service, due to incorrect addressing. My wife emailed Mr. Ellis back and explained to him that we were stationed in Okinawa, Japan and that our address is an APO address, due to being active duty military, serving overseas. It has been five long months and we have not heard any updates from Mr. Ellis on the status of our shipment nor a refund. My wife requested a full refund from Mr. Ellis and we have yet to see it on our credit card billing statement. I have tried to contact Dive Sports via email to express my concerns to Mr. Ellis and it appears that our emails get “rejected”. The main issue here is that we paid for merchandise and we still have not received it nor a full refund. We are tired of hearing excuses from Mr. Ellis that the US Postal Service “rejected” the shipment nor cannot find our address. Every other merchant in the United States has no problems whatsoever shipping overseas to APO/FPO military addresses. If Dive Sports, Inc cannot fulfill our order…we would like to have our money refunded in full. The perception of the matter is that Mr. Ellis is taking full advantage of US military troops stationed overseas and not shipping their merchandise as promised. This is basically the same thing as stealing. Again, I have already tried to email Mr. Ellis directly and the email was returned. "

"Divesports were very friendly and helpful when I called them to ask them questions about several products. Prices were very good. They didn't provide an invoice via email, but I did receive a UPS tracking number."
