"I have purchased inverters and battery accessories for years from DonRowe.com and only now thought to write a review. Each time Ive purchased from these folk, its been a pleasure. They have helpful advice and are super friendly. Once in a while you can find the same products a bit cheaper elsewhere - but the service and tech support is no where near as competent as with DonRowe.com.

Ive attached pics of my most recent purchase of a Steca 20A charge controller (and a Xantrex 2000W inverter I purchased a couple of years ago from DonRowe.com as well).

Regarding the controller - Wow. I was going to purchase my usual go-to Morningstar 15A (metered). The Steca from DonRowe was actually less expensive, has a great GUI that's pretty intuitive, and made in Germany. The instrumentation capability on the Steca is actually quite remarkable...considering I didnt read the manual, I keep getting surprised on new things that it does such as this bonus: It has a built in data-logger to monitor daily Amp-hour usage so u can adjust storage or production capacity on the fly!

At our roadside inn, I do free community solar workshops and its so nice having robust equipment to use and teach others on.

I contacted DonRowe and kissae both because the unit had a one year factory warranty. After reading horror stories about trying to get companies to honour their warranty's. This was not the case with DonRowe and Kisae. They both worked with me in A very timely manner. I shipped my bad one to DonRowe for another unit. Kisae agreed my unit was defective and e-mailed DonRowe that it was bad, and offered to replace it if DonRowe would not. They have a lifetime customer now. And my friends and coworkers were so impressed that they are now considering kissae and DonRowe product's."
