"This company sucks! I wish I had read the reviews before I ever ordered from them. I ordered the birthing ball kit deluxe from their amazon store on December 27, 2011. The product arrived two weeks late (which according to some reviews makes feel kind of lucky) and only after I FINALLY got in touch with them through their live chat. When it did arrive, I noticed the carrying strap was missing. I was fortunate enough to get in touch with them immediately, was told it was on back order, and that I would receive it in a week. Two weeks went by and still no strap. I called again. Three days they were "temporarily out of the office". On the 4th day, I was on hold for 30 minutes before I got someone. I was told that it had just arrived in their store the day before and that I would have it with in 2-3 days. A week and a half go by with no strap. I called again and was told it would be here within 2-3 days. I asked for a tracking number and was told they would email it to me (I didn't fight this since I was driving and didnt want to drive and write). Still never got the email with the tracking number. After another 2 weeks, I tried calling again. 3 days in a row they were temporarily out of the office. Day 4 I was on hold for an hour before I hung up and called back. Then I get a recording saying I was calling outside of business hours (NOT TRUE). I have emailed at least 10 times and spoken to Amber (who must be the only one they hired to do this job) 4-5 times. NEVER got the strap. Thank goodness amazon has great customer service and they gave me $66 in amazon credit which was way more than that damn strap cost."

"DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS SITE!
Don't be trust by their friendly name "Doula", or be taken with their great prices. good prices don't mean anything if they steal your money and send you nothing.
Whoever owns this site should be GO TO JAIL for abusing the name "Doula" and scamming hundreds of new mothers.
MY STORY:
I placed an order OVER 2 MONTHS ago now... December 3rd. At first I didn't think much of it being late because it was a few weeks before christmas, and I am in Alaska, so sometimes thing take longer. But half way through January, I got frusterated and CALLED AND CALLED and no one answered, more often than not a message stated they were "temporarily out of the office", Once I got on hold, waited 20 minutes and got someone named "Amber." ONLY ONCE in the past two months someone answered my call! "Amber" said it must have been lost in the mail and they will re-send the order, "overnight"...
I waited another week, Called... she said it would be her saturday. It never came. waited another week. and another. CALLED AND CALLED. EMAILED AND EMAILED. no responce.
The Order Status on their site says it's been "shipped"... but when I follow the tracking number USPS site ONLY says they've been "electronically notified by the shipper on January 27, 2012" and have not received the shipment. At this point I have no faith they ever will mail me ANYTHING so I would like to find a way for them to reimburse me. I am on hold with them again today... no answer. still.
I spent OVER $95.
A COMPLETE SCAM AND A RIP OFF! AVOID THIS SITE.

She has a BBB accredited logo on their site though, the owner of the company is Amber Luttrell. Don't shop at doulashop.com, bellygifts.com, nor at ebabycarriers.com - all the same place.

"Ordered a bag. Received notice that it had shipped, with a bogus tracking number. Phone calls and emails unreturned.

I opened a dispute via paypal, and escalate to a claim. They never responded to paypal, or to me. Paypal is "trying" to retrieve the money, but can apparently only do it if there is money in their account.

"Have pretty much the same story as everyone else on here. Placed an order a month ago, received a bogus tracking number when they said it shipped a week later, & of course, never received order. Very frustrating cuz you can't reach them by phone & they don't respond to e-mails. Has anyone figured out what to do about this? I figure I'm out my $100 that they made sure they got. Never again."

"I am having a similar experience with Doula Shop. I placed an order for a 3 pack of belli bands and Bio Oil. I only received 2 bands and the shipping document that was included in my packed listed all items as shipped. I have been calling Doula Shop for a week and a half now and the 800 number answers to an automatic greeting that says they are temporarily closed. I checked on their website for holiday hours and they state they are only closed on Christmas Eve and Christmas day. I have also sent them two emails but have not received a reply. They have already processed my payment for the entire order yet here I am, missing items. I am very disappointed and personally will never shop there again. If they don't send my missing items and reply to me soon, I will file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. "

"I ordered my products in October, 10 weeks later and after sending multiple emails (no one ever answers a phone) I only got 1 email back stating my product would ship within 1-2 weeks. That was 6 weeks ago. THIS IS A FRADULENT COMPANY!!!!! No more of my emails have ever been responded to."
