"My experience with Drillspot proper was a positive experience. Unfortunately, the product I ordered was fulfilled by Grainger and they shipped a 20+ lb item in it's retail package. Add in UPS's gorilla shipping methods and you're stuff is going to be bent and broken.
On the positive side: My item actually showed up early and my emails and phone calls to Drillspot were answered quickly by friendly people. They tried their best to get me a replacement unit shipped in a fashion as to not end up broken like the one I had. In the end they issued me a full credit no questions asked.
This was my first time using Drillspot and I'd order from them again. Their high customer service rating is well deserved. However I'd be mindful of heavy items since it's possible it would be drop shipped by a 3rd party. It's not Drillspot's fault but shipping damage of heavy items is extremely common these days and having a 3-4 parties involved does add complexity to the situation.
