"I too bought "half inch" tubing from Drip Depot. It is closer to three quarter inch tubing with an OD of 0.7". The worst thing about Drip Depot is that they are not upfront about the dimensions. They call it half inch. When I complained about buying two 1000 foot rolls from them they invited me to return it at my expense. So I searched online and found Dripirrigation.com. They actually tell you about the three different sizes of half inch tubing they sell, with OD, at the outset. I also purchased from dripirrigation.com some conversion connectors that will connect the 0.62" to the 0.7". Drip Depot go to the trouble of sending you two lollipops with each order, but hide important information. They need to get their priorities right."

"I ordered .5 inch tubing and connectors (couplers, 90s and others), also .5 inch. They did not connect with the tubing because of the size of the tubing at .6 inside and .7 outside, and the connectors at .5 were too small to push together. I had to return the entire shipment at my cost.

Their explanation was "Thank you for contacting Drip Depot customer service and bringing this to our attention. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience, unfortunately, there are no industry standards in drip irrigation tubing. Many of the manufacturers offer several different sizes of 1/2" tubing. At Drip Depot, we standardize on a 1/2" tubing with a .600" inside diameter and .700" outside diameter. We understand that due to the lack of industry standards, buying parts from multiple vendors can be very frustrating, and we sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. "
