"This is the third time I have used Drive Solutions to upgrade or replace hard drives on notebook computers. Each time I used their EzUpgrade Center to identify my make and model, which then shows the choices with enough detail to select easily, see prices, and suggested accessories. Each time the correct drive arrived as promised and the Applicon ghosting device and software worked very well, allowing me to tailor the new drive partitions to make good use of the expanded drive size. The Applicon hard drive enclosure also makes a very handy recovery tool for a computer which quits for reasons other than a bad hard drive. Just pop out the drive from the bad computer, slip it into the enclosure and plug the USB cable into another computer. Presto, you have an external hard drive with all your valuable cata ready to move to another computer. This enclosure is really nice because it has both styles of HD edge connectors. "

I am now trying to find some place to take a use hard drive for a laptop as it is partially imaged. There is a different issue with the laptop which has nothing to do with this company. "This place was great. I needed to upgrade an older Laptop, both memory and the old sluggish hard drive that came with it. Dell wanted $$$ for similar items, but Drive Solutions sold me the faster, more GB memory, and a faster, bigger hard drive , along with a product to clone the old drive onto the new one for less than Dell was going to change me just for the memory. The box arrived in good condtion, packaged well, and they even sent a guide on the way Dell has put a connector on their drive. In less than 10 minutes I had the memory installed, and was cloning the old drive data onto the new Drive data 20 minutes after that I had the new drive installed, and my old Dell Laptop is 3 times faster than it was.
