It happens more frequently than you think. Dronefly wont take it back. Amazon and BestBuy will take it back-no questions.
DJI- the manufacturer of Phantom 4 drones is in China. Their support services are terrible; they have a poor comprehension of english
I would recommend buying another, more reliable brand of drone. if you really want a DJI phantom, buy it from a source that will take it back.
i bought a Phantom 4 from Dronefly in May, 2016. It never worked out of the box. It does not return to home. After 4 months and 64 emails, 30 phone calls, nothing has happened. Dronefly refers me to DJI. DJI cannot reply. They send me an acknowledgement and an issue number. 3 days later they send me a note telling me the issue has been resolved successfully. Nothing could be more aggravating.
