"You always feel a little apprehensive about buying online. However, after reading the reviews for this store, I decided to take a chance.
I purchase a transmitter for a Shure In-Ear monitor system. I was a little shocked, as the price was close to $50 less than I could find anywhere else. I purchased the item late on a Tuesday afternoon. I received an email that it shipped, with the tracking information.
I was hoping to have the item for my Friday and Saturday gigs, and I did. I received the item on Friday afternoon. The part was exactly as I ordered. I connected it and used it all weekend.

"I'm not sure why someone would write a bad review for Drums on Sale!!! i ordered a Gibraltar cage online. Chris promptly responded with order confirmation and tracking info. 3 days later it was on my front porch!!!! Awesome place. i will definitely purchase more gear from them!!!!!!"

"After I placed my order I found the bad reviews here and was wishing I'd went elsewhere.
Now I'm glad I ordered from Drumsonsale!!
I called B4 placing the order to see if the Gibraltar GCS-450C rack was in stock, Chris said he didn't stock them but he showed 2 in the warehouse that would be drop shipped to me. I placed the order and about 4 days later the website said part of my order had been shipped. On the day this order was due to arrive I called Drumsonsale(DOS) to see what the holdup was for the rest of the order because I was fearing the rack was on backorder even tho he showed 2 in the warehouse. Luckily the rack was on it's way. Chris was cool enough to put me on hold to call Pearl to see why my 3rd tom arm hadn't showed yet and come to find out Pearl discontinued them and hadn't notified him. We agreed to go with 3 Gibraltar tom mounts that he had in stock and said he would send it out that day along with my 4 Pearl cymbal booms and 2 Pearl Optimounts. Later that night I got an email with a tracking # that it had been shipped. 3 days later the 2nd part of my order arrived.
Everything was there in the right quantities and right brand/part. My only complaint is the box the Gibraltar rack came in looked worn out and about to bust at the seams. When I got everything unwrapped there were 3 rack tubes with dents in them and 3 clamps where beat up so bad the chrome was coming off!! I can't blame drumsonsale for this because it was in a Gibraltar box and DOS never opened the box. I just didn't feel Gibraltar packaged it that well. Also I can't blame DOS for the miscommunication from Pearl on the tom arms either.
All in all I'm glad I bought from Drumsonsale and Chris answered all my questions when I called and made it right with the tom arms. I'm still not at all happy about the beat up rack but again that has nothing to do with DOS.
So it's no mystery that DOS is a small operation and maybe they are understaffed but I gotta give them props because they did me right and were fairly quick about it. You people need to understand that some things happen beyond a sellers control and just work with them politely to make it right. I'm sure they need your repeat business so they will do what they can to make you happy.
Now to decide what to do about this beat up rack issue. I'll keep you posted how it was handled."
"I stumbled across drumsonsale.com a year or two ago when I was looking for some die cast hoops. This was the best price out there on the hoops I wanted. Later I spent quite a long time waiting to find the an affordable set of floor tom leg mounts and bass drum tom mounts to come up for auction for some vintage drums I was restoring. I found the parts I needed new at drumsonline for a better price than most auction prices.
While I have several great music stores in my town that I support by shopping for my regular drum needs, when I hit one of those times where I need a hard to find part, I have had great luck finding the parts at drumsonsale.com.
I have made three purchases from drumsonsale.com and have had fine service, and good shipping times for my orders. I would definitely look to them in the future because they always seem to be the one place that has those hard to find drum parts."

3 years ago, I purchased a complete Pearl drumkit plus cymbals, add-ons and upgrade-parts. Except for one missing little spare part on my order, every item arrived very well wrapped and in perfect condition. The total time of shipping might have been quicker, but I understood there was some process time at Pearl's HQ in Nashville. As I remember the feedback time of customer service was somewhat unstable, but I got my responses. However I'm pleased with my trade with Drums on Sale.

"Let me state up front that I am writing a review because Drums on Sale blasted me an email requesting that i write a review either good or bad, and in return I get 10% off my next order. About 2 years ago I added on 2 small toms to my Pearl kit. The price was amazing, and when the toms came I was extremely happy with them. They were exactly as advertised, matched my kit perfectly and came in a few days. So while I do acknowledge that all companies are not perfect, and I do have my fair share of companies I will never buy from again, I will buy from Drums on Sale again.

"I just recently walked into Drums on Sale because I love to beat on my drums and I needed some parts. The store is outstanding! I could move my bed into the middle and live there. I purchased a DVD of Tommy Igoe that taught me more than I expected. I also bought new fancy sticks, a cymbal stand, and a cowbell. I needed a bell clamp but it was out of stock so I was told that someone would let me know when it came in. Three days later I got the email. Five days later I went back for it and purchased a snare head, a muffler for my bass, felt for my cymbal, a screw for my kick pedal, and received answers to a lot of questions.
I could not be happier with the way the staff took care of my needs or what the store did for my inspiration. Also, I still have a lot of money to spare; the prices are great! Madelene Grassello"
"I have been a local customer for over 10 years. The store is about 40 minutes from my home. They carry a wide selection of equipment and a large percussionist product list, Hand drums, Cymbals and gadgets. Not a great selection of new Drums, but I understand you can't carry em all and limited retail space. No Vintage stuff which is my hot button. I have purchased a lot of cases and stands for my Vintage drums from Chris. Now I will admit, I do not get a warm fuzzy greeting on arrival. But I can bang on stuff, and see new gear without too much aggravation. If I ask a question they are helpful. I have had a few problems in the past trying to call them, in response to an email or a Sale...as they do not always answer the phone...Very frustrating when I was trying to see if they were open before I drove 40 minutes to get there. I have other local Music Stores I support too, phone is answered buy the third ring! I don't know how you can ignore your phone inquires? I have recently asked about and inquired to purchase a New set of drums (You did answer the phone!) $1500+ sale if I can get a matching Display piece and am waiting to get an answer back...(I also am waiting to hear from another store too...)So, I do not know if they value my business or if you forgot, or have not heard from Gretsch, we all are busy. It is a major expenditure to me and I am still on the fence. I get the feeling in the store that they are too busy with online sales to service the client in the shop. He rarely comes out from behind the back work bench to greet, sell, or help you. I feel like I am intruding or interrupting as I like to ask a lot questions and get the best deal and avoid the Guitar Center hell...However, I spent $250+ at GC the other day on heads, wood block, new Tama foot pedal and cowbell etc...and Frisked on the way out the door (Glad you don't have that hassle here!). That could have been his sale too. So for customer appreciation and service you get a C+... I will remain a client, Drum up the service and you will ring up more sales! They do have good competitive prices on stuff and will work with you to get a special order or item. JRS"
"I've made a number of purchases with Drums On Sale, including 2 Sonor drum sets. I've also purchased drum heads,sticks, mounting systems, bags... They had best prices on items I purchased and they had items that were otherwise hard to find. I've never had any issues with them and have been very happy in all of my dealings, hence the repeat business. I've recommended them to some of my fellow drummer friends.
The new web site is great as it offers a great number of useful drum and percussion products at sweet prices.
I did have an inquiry about a drum mounting part which never got fully resolved and I eventually moved to another option. They were waiting on Sonor, which didn't seem to provide the info in a timely manner. I would recommend to the merchant to keep an eye on open issues through their ticketing system and to follow up accordingly."
