I bought a surveying book and never received it (July 14 it was bought, supposedly shipped July 15, should have arrived by August 4 at the latest). I am currently disputing the charge through Paypal. I ordered a book form Dualj on June 26/09. It was the "CRC Handbook of Chemistry and Physics 85th Edition. Yes the book was a used book in "Good or better" condition. On my PayPal account confirmation it even said.

So I was expecting to receive just that. Much to my surprise. What I received was the "Handbook of Chemistry and Physics 1959-1960 edition. This is not okay! I tried to contact Dualj, and all I could get was their website which I had to log in at, but when I entered my account and password. They didn't even know me. I tried everything to get logged on. I entered every number that there was on my order confirmation e-mail from Dualj, to no avail. I entered a complaint with PayPal, who talks good, but apparently their policy is that they could sell me any edition of the same book no matter how old, and it would be just fine. An older novel of the same title would be the same, but a book like this one sold under a different edition is entirely a different matter. I have two earlier editions of this book already. Both of which are far more current than the one that they sent me. I wanted an upgrade not a piece of history."

"The Dualj.com website claimed to have a rather expensive book in stock at a very low price, so I unwittingly ordered it (without checking here first). I received no purchase receipt from the transaction (email or otherwise). A week went by, and I searched for any buyer feedback and found this site. I then did a WHOIS request on the Dualj.com domain and called the number it had, located in Texas. It turned out to be the guy's mom (who said he's since gotten married and moved out) but she gave me his new number. I called it and left a message to return my call. I received no response. I then went to the website and requested an "order status," which turned out to be nothing more than an automatic form email, basically stating something like, "We typically ship as soon as we can." Finally, I received a full refund to my Paypal account 15 days later, which included an apology stating that they did not have the book (which the website claimed to have)."

I ordered Discovering psychology third edition 2006. He mentioned it will be shipped next day. 2001 second edition was shipped after a week from BetterWorld.com. Book is in a very bad condition and basically junk. Of course, I made a dispute on paypal. My understanding is this is not a bookstore. This is a thief who order these books from amazon (the one he sent me is on ebay for 1 cent).

Please, don't lose your money.
