"I am very happy to find Amish mailboxes made with poly rather than wood. My first wooden mailbox I bought in Lancaster, PA in 1991 and after 10 years it was beginning to rot. I built a new box from wood myself and it rotted in two years so I built one from a poly/wood composite which has lasted 14 years but now pieces of trim and roofing are falling off since my experimental design wasn't very good. I love the looks of your poly box and do not have a source for the colored poly so am happy to order it and replace my sad looking experiment. I will stick to building beehives and birdhouses from now on."
