"We purchased one of their kit playhouses for our grand daughter and had a local carpenter assemble it. We could not be happier with the product and you should have seen our granddaughter's eyes and entire body light up when she first saw it. Now having fun appointing it with appropriate sized furniture, a small play kitchen, and picking interior paint colors. Both email and telephone support was A+ throughout. Plan on using the building in retirement as a decorative place to store outdoor seat cushions."

"I ordered two bookshelves from a three piece set. The accommodated that request. It does take a long time for the item to be made and delivered, but worth it as the construction seems really well done. We, unfortunately, were delivered the bookshelves with only one side of each made with peg holes to hold the shelves. We had to have them pick it up, finish the product and redeliver. They were very helpful in this process, I was just upset to have to wait an additional few weeks to receive our shelves in perfect condition."

"Having grown up in PA, I've bought many Amish made products over the years. So satisfied with their workmanship, I recently searched and bought a bird feeder. I chose the Primitive Stake Bird Feeder with Wood Roof #43256. I can't verbalize how disappointed I am with it. It's a box-like construction with no means of drainage (i.e. screen), so when it rains, it's a reservoir -- collecting water and attracting mosquitoes. No mention was made that it required assembly.
I'm convinced that it was not handmade, especially by the Amish, but was mass produced. I'm VERY disappointed and would NOT recommend this item.

"I was hesitant to order furniture online without seeing it first, especially spending this kind of money, but I did. I couldn't find a dining room set that would fit my dining area what was a) made out of wood, and b) was an appropriate size. Dutchcrafter's site allowed me to select exactly what I needed in size, quality, and finish. Though it took longer than originally estimated, about 4 weeks over, in the long run it was worth the wait. I have never set in a wooden chair that was this solid, and comfortable. The finish matched perfectly to my cabinets that I had just purchased (thx Natalie!) and look amazing. Customer service is exceptional, (again, thx Natalie) and you will get what you pay for, I couldn't be happier with the finished product. This will be something that will stay in my family and surely be passed down for generations, no kidding, it's that good. "The delivery crew was very friendly, polite, and professional. They went out of their way to make sure everything was set up correctly and exactly where I wanted it.
When they were done, all of the packing material was picked up and they checked with me to make sure I was happy with it.
It is truly refreshing to deal with folks who take pride in what they are doing. I only caught one of the names - Jerry. I did not catch the other gentlemen's name.
I was extremely impressed.

The entertainment center is beautiful. The craftsmen did an outstanding job of blending the fireplace into the center console. I would recommend that they offer the fireplace as a standard option for this piece.
The stain is uniform across the whole entertainment center which is also very impressive. I work with oak from time to time and I know how difficult it can be to get the stain even on all pieces with the variations in wood grain. The unit is well built and I will be proud to show it off to all who enter my home.

Last but not least, it has been a very pleasant experience working with DutchCrafters. Everyone that I have dealt with has been polite and helpful.

"I have always wanted something Amish-made. I purchased a corner entertainment center. It is beautiful and I absolutely love it. My only 2 complaints are: the television doors do not push all the way into the center when you have it open so it's not the "best" watching experience, but not a huge deal. And #2 it took longer than they said it would - about 3 weeks extra however with this type of craftsmanship I was not too upset about that - just be prepared to wait longer than anticipated. I also had to call to ask what was going on when my shipment day passed instead of being notified by e-mail or phone. With such an expensive item I thought I would have been notified about the delay as soon as it was known - but again, not a big deal. "

"We ordered a pie safe with bottom drawer (Product ID 854), in the Autumn Wheat stain. The original model came with raised panels with painted design. Instead, we ordered this piece with punched tin panels in the wheat design. The craftsmanship of our pie safe is exquisite, and the Autumn Wheat stain is warm and uplifting; it is the jewel of our kitchen/dining area, and we are so glad we ordered it from Dutchcrafters. Our sales rep kept us informed of everything we needed to know, and the man who built our pie safe, has an obvious gift as a cabinet maker. Adjusting the shelf pins, is not a struggle, as with some pieces of furniture, and the finish is so smooth! Even the delivery man who brought the pie safe to our home in Ohio was very nice. Be assured, quality of craftsmanship and service is to be found with Dutchcrafters, and well worth the wait. You will not be disappointed."

"I bought a 4 ft. lighthouse with a rotating light. The lighthouse came much quicker than I thought it would and I was pleased with the service and the lighthouse. I had reservations about the color but after talking to the lady who took my order I ended up ordering the Navy Blue with white trim. Thank goodness the "navy" blue is a beautiful bright dark blue and I love it. I didn't want something too dark but this one was perfect and looks like a million dollars in my front yard. "
