"We placed an order, charged to a company credit card on October 8th, arranged for 2-3 day delivery, and never received the item. When I contacted the company on October 20th to determine the status of the order, I received a one line response of "It will ship tomorrow". I sent a return email asking if my email triggered the shipment and inquired about a tracking number. I let them know that for a first transaction, I wasn't real impressed. The response I received was "That's exactly true how do you know that i am impressed you must be astrologist.", with no tracking number or explanation as to had occurred, but lots of sarcasm. On October 24th, I again contacted them and inquired as to the shipping status. Their response was "It will ship on monday as it was on back order we will email you the tracking no as soon as it ships out from here." On October 29th, I again contacted them and notified them that if it had not shipped by the end of day, I would be seeking a refund and cancelling the order. Their response was "We will ship to you then." WHAT!! They had no intention of shipping until I threatened them with cancellation? I contacted them ONCE AGAIN and stated that their one line response was not what I would consider informative, and again requested a tracking number. After receiving no response the next day, I issued a formal letter of cancellation and am ordering elsewhere.
DEFINITE BLACKLIST IN MY BOOK! Promises of delivery unfulfilled, sarcastic email responses, a full answering machine when attempting to contact them by phone the first time, no return call when I finally got through. Bad Business...

"This company behaves fraudulently. I ordered two hard drives on 9/15 through their Yahoo storefront site. They charged my credit card the next day. After three days, there was no change to the order status so I tried calling their "support" number. (It's their only number.) After two weeks and many attempts at all different times, there has never been an answer. I sent an e-mail a week later and got a response from "George Webber" saying it would ship "tomorrow". After two days, I wrote a note asking for the tracking number. Again, "George Webber" replied saying he would send the tracking number. After two days and no number, no change in status, no answer by phone, and no hard drives, I sent a note and told them to cancel the order. George replied after three days saying he would credit my card. It has been nearly three weeks and the credit has not been applied. I should have checked this site before clicking the "Place Order" button. These people are frauds. To top it all off, I started receiving Viagra e-mails the day after placing the initial order. Maybe that's their real business."

"I too found them on Pricewatch myself and they have decent prices , however their not as good if you have to wait weeks to receive your order or get lied to .. and then receive the wrong item.. I ordered a usb external cdrw.. well I received a kit.. just that I cannot fit a 5.25 drive into a 3.5 inch external case.. I have emailed and tried calling only to get no response or another lie. Scam artists. I needed that harddrive ASAP because of a crash. I've been burning DVD-Rs for weeks now due to the lack of space they have caused me.
I will never do business with them again. I usually refuse to do business with anyone who doesn't have a toll free number. For some reason, I forgot to obey my own rule when purchasing my drive from them, and now I am paying.

"I wish I would have checked here before ordering from these people. The have questionable buisness practices. They have no phone to reach them , one number has a full mailbox and the other two numbers on there site are disconnected. I filed a complaint with pricewatch. I have talked with my credit card company and refuse to do buisness with these people ever again. I would advise any one to do the same. "I ordered the cd-writer and cases they were on back order they did send em an email saying that it was on back order after two days later they send me another email and it was shipped. i just received it yesterday i am very happy from thir service. They were very courteious and very responsive to my emails. This is my second time i ordered with them. My friend also oreds from them on regular bases he said he is pretty happy from the service. Sometimes they do have items which are back order but they will email you and give you the date when it will ship so that's good about that. There prices are very competetive. I do recommend to others as well."
"O.K. I ordered a processor fom E1micro they didn't charge my account untill Sep 15 2003. When I emaild them asking what the deal was they said it was on back order and that it will ship tomorrow (Sep 30) Well it is now Oct. 9th and I still have no processor. When I try to call them on the phone no one answers. I am prity mad at this point and I would Never use them again and Will make sure no one I know dose eather."
"DO NOT ATTEMPT TO BUY ANYTHING FROM THESE GUYS!!! No one who looks at these ratings first would ever consider doing business with e1micro, the shoddiest vendor that I've encountered on the Web. I ordered a Seagate 120MB drive from them on September 10 and was told on four separate occasions thereafter -- by a "George Webber" -- that the part had shipped. All such assurances proved to be outright lies, and now I have no reason to trust "George Webber" 's most recent reassurance -- that, not wanting my business any longer, they will process a refund to my credit card.
Don't expect to reach them on the phone either, because no one picks up at e1micro. Also, the UPS tracker link referenced in their invoice to you is a dead button -- a fake. This company will surface under a different name shortly, I am sure, but for now, it's too bad some will buy into their scam even after it has been uncovered on this "reseller ratings" Web site.

"This reseller is a rip off. They have good price listed with pricewatch.com but when you visit their store the price is higher. In addition they charge you tax, even when you are in different state. I am from NY and their web site only list PO Box in Irvine, CA. To my knowledge Irvine is nowhere near East Coast. Good advise. "Falsely advertised product on pricewatch (the item was backordered with no indication), and the person I corresponded with was patronizing and rude. After waiting for two weeks, I asked him to cancel the order, which he did, but I got no email to confirm this and overall this was the worst experience I've had with a small Internet business."

I ordered a Toshiba hard drive, and the listed availability was that it would ship in two to three days. However, it doesn't ship until 8 days later, and I don't receive it until 10 days after I ordered it (even though UPS delivered it quickly).
Moreover, they ship me a Fujitsu drive and not the Toshiba drive I ordered. Do not, I repeat, DO NOT buy from this reseller!!!"
"They advertise great prices but stick it to you with shipping charges. If you order more than one their system accepts the order, you save big on shipping then - they then say "out of stock". Asking them why they advertise they snidely remarked that they only sell 1 per order - when you shaft people on shipping that's no way to treat a customer."
"Call Better Business Bureau (BBB) before you attempt to waste your time with this company, if it really is a company. As a joke to a friend of mine I said I think they collect credit card numbers and then will launch a credit card scam after they gather enough credit to escape to Aruba. We laughed but I still have not recieved even an apology email to cancel my second order after the first was cancelled. Orders #7589 & 7659 were never shipped. The first was cancelled in a matter of a few days and the second is still pending a follow up cancellation email which I have a feeling will happen. If you are reading this and the several other email reviews about this webshop that Yahoo! wishes to maintain, you'd better sit back and expect to have every order cancel after a few days of patient waiting totally on your time. Just wait and see if this company and website cease to exist after I report them to the BBB and others that maintain a legal business practice advantage. I hope E1Micro comes up with some merchandise or face the consquences of losing thier business and reputation...whatever is left of it. "
"I have been very blessed in my online transactions in that every company I've dealt with has been honest, prompt, and has had relatively good customer service. I knew that eventually the odds would go against me. This company was the one! I ordered some computer hardware from this company at the end of July, by the middle of August I hadn't received anything. So, I tried calling. No one answered and the voicemail box was full. So, I emailed the company. I did receive a reply rather promptly saying that a tracking number would be sent to me when it shipped out. I was mostly placated, but I still wanted to know when it would ship out, so I replied with that question. They replied back that it was "still" out of stock. STILL? They never said it was in the first place! Then two seconds later I get another email saying that the product was no longer available and the order was cancelled! Inexcusable! I will NEVER order from this company again! They are extremely unprofessional and LIE to their customers!
UPDATE: I checked their website, and this product that they claim is not available, IS STILL LISTED ON THEIR WEBSITE WITH NOTHING TO SAY THAT IT IS OUT!!"
