"Overall, I love Everbrook. The staff is excellent and the teachers are caring. Communication is great."
"Overall really positive!! Always actively trying to make things better"
"Beyond thrilled with how our kids transitioned to Everbrook from another daycare just three weeks ago. Staff has really helped with such a positive transition for our kids. Everyone has been so welcoming, and our kids are genuinely happy going to school in the morning."
"I've been really disappointed overall. My child is fine, safe, etc. here, but our experience has absolutely not been worth the price we pay."
"People are very nice, but teacher shortages are an issue and although the classrooms are staffed it is causing a lapse in the ability for the children to have consistancy of daily lessons"
"Lots of communication and transparency. We feel very comfortable and confident in our child's care."
"I have waiting on posting a review, as I wanted to experience our child's new school for awhile so I could get a good sense to compare and contrast the two and give my honest and personal opinion. Nothing I am about to write is anything new, and is basically taken from all of the other reviews you'll see about this place written by other people.
Having said that, just as others have written, this academy is big on victim blaming and ensuring that parents and toddlers feel responsible for their 2 year olds not being perfectly adjusted members of society and tends to forget that they are children who are learning who they are and how to behave. There does not seem to be an emphasis on learning and growth, but instead on simply keeping bodies in the rooms.
Director/Management does not seem focused on supporting the children or the parents and feels combative and more concerned with maintaining control over their staff and students than providing any kind of nurturing or a pleasant environment. I say that because now that we have enrolled in a new school the difference in the staff and management demeanor is night and day. Our child blows kisses to the staff as he leaves, whereas at Everbrook he screamed and cried at dropoff and pickup and could not leave the building fast enough.
We should have seen the writing on the wall when multiple teachers resigned from the school to move to other local schools, students left, and, as management actually directly told us about, were asked to not come back. That last point is especially concerning because, in our personal opinion, it almost seemed a prideful boast that they had asked parents and students to not come back to their business.
Don't let their fancy website and brochure fool you. Our child, just as others have written about their experiences, did not thrive here. Everbrook's upper management needs to take a look at this location and evaluate what's going on.
Just like I said earlier, none of this is "new" and has all been written by other people who have attended this school... I am simply confirming from our personal experience and opinion that what has been written seemed to be the same experience we had."
"I love the administrative staff at Everbrook (Apex). They are always friendly and welcoming, and sometimes they have fun stories about what my child(ren) did or said that day. I know they genuinely care about their well-being and as a first-time parent, that brings such great comfort. As for the teachers, there is obviously turnover as it is the nature of the field right now, but we haven't had any complaints with the teachers we've had so far. They seem genuinely excited to see the children every day, and more importantly, my daughter is excited to see them."
"All the staff has been so warm and welcoming everyday! Keep up the great work"
"Shannon and Erin and Lisa and Erica have been such partners in my kid's care and growth. I've reached out to them for guidance and gotten it. They've certainly helped give me insight and ideas in raising a functional member of society. Love them and our experience."
"director and all staff are wonderful. They communicate and when their is a problem they bring it to my attention (there haven't been a lot but they have been addressed immediately) . I feel like he is safe and learning both academically and socially. He has never once said he didn't like a teacher or that a teacher was mean. He loves the school and after a week home was pushing to go back to see his friend and teachers."
"See prior statement about safety & communications. It’s invaluable. Keep you up!"
"Very positive. The only area of improvement I can say is to take the problem parents aside and communicate with them directly vs. sending out mass communications in the app. With COVID specific policies communicate to them that there's a waiting list and if they have issues on how it's being handled (in most cases) it's out of the school's control. I realize you don't want to lose any business or damage your reputation. You're doing a great job and most of us appreciate it. Don't let the crazy ones dictate your communication to everyone. If they cannot understand the rules in place they can move on. Don't let that impact how you're running your business. If it's a problem you'll hear from the others :)"
"Everbrook Apex has been such a gift for our family - we joined initially because it’s very close to our house, but it has exceeded all of our expectations. Our daughter is thriving at school - she loves her teachers, learns everyday and is making new friends all the time. The staff at Everbrook cares about our whole family, and we are so comfortable calling them with any question we might have. Throughout COVID, our daughters safety has been prioritized and they’ve gone above and beyond to keep all the kids safe. We have and will continue to recommend Everbrook Apex to anyone who asks."
"We’ve been incredibly pleased with Everbrook. The curriculum and the teachers are great, and I’ve seen real progress in my child’s academic, social, and emotional skills. We’ve been especially pleased with how the school had handled the pandemic. I feel like my son is in a safe environment, as the school has responded flexibly to changes in conditions."
