"In the past Ebates has been a decent site for getting cashback on purchases made through their site. Unfortunately, as of a few months ago I stopped getting cashback on EVERY purchase I made and had to email them every time to get my cashback credited. I have used several different clean computers, cleared cache etc. and still doesn't correct the problem. Other cashback sites are working but Ebates all of the sudden has become a dud and a waste of my time.

"I really like getting paid for shopping at places I normally shop. I would have given 5 stars if you got paid for in store purchases at Walmart, Dollar General, Sears, and places like that instead of it having to be online orders only. "

"For simple purchases, they will credit you. However, when you make vacation / hotel bookings, they drag their feet. Someone should investigate them. They falsely advertise that they will give you a percentage, then take over 6 months to start verifying. No response. poor ccustomer service.

"My experience with ebates was a poor one. For months I visited partner websites, made purchases and earned them money by clicking their affiliate links. I was trying to reach the $5 threshold to receive my rebate check. When I finally reached the minimum balance I never got my check. I emailed customer service after waiting an appropriate amount of time and was completely ignored.

This was quite some time ago. I signed up for an account with my hotmail email, which deleted all my emails when I didn't log into my account enough, so I have no evidence of my interactions. I hope now that some time has passed they're practicing better business rules and valuing customers more. I never visited the site again after they cheated me out of my promised rebate and I hope you won't waste your time on them."
