Trusted and Dependable RAM

"We've been buying RAM from EDGE Tech Corp since 2014. They have no problem drop shipping RAM quickly and accurately, and the few times there have been problems, we were able to sort them out quickly. Their lifetime warranty is dependable and they stand by their products whenever we purchase them. A+"

BOTTOM TIER RAM...AT BEST. AFTER PURCHASE WARRANTY & CUSTOMER SERVICE...DOESN'T EVEN REGISTER.

"Purchased EDGE Tech Corp RAM Upgrade kit for Early 2008 MacBook Pro4,1 and since it was from a brick and mortar store from 2008 and not their online website, they do not honor their lifetime warranty. I REPEAT, THEY DO NOT HONOR THEIR WARRANTY IF YOU PURCHASE THEIR PRODUCTS FROM ANYWHERE ELSE BUT THEIR ONLINE STOREFRONT.

IF YOU PURCHASED THIS RAM FROM ANYWHERE ELSE, THINKING YOU HAVE A LIFETIME WARRANTY FROM DEFECTS, YOU ARE INCORRECT.

This companies poor reputation is well deserved and all of the other negative reviews here are not exaggerated. THE RAM FAILED 20 MONTHS AFTER PURCHASE and edgetechcorp REFUSES to honor the defective RAM warranty. Period.

I'm glad we were able to squeeze that much time out of the product, but that's only trying to look on the bright side.

Exercise your better judgement this time and buy from a reputable, honorable company like macsales.com (OWC) or Corsair, which have REAL LIFETIME replacement warranties, not like this gaggle of clowns looking to dupe anyone looking for inexpensive RAM alternatives. Just know if you buy this RAM you may get some use out of it, but there is ABSOLUTELY NO GUARANTEE they will honor the lifetime warranty like other companies if it fails...which it will...

"DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS COMPANY
Extremely Poor Customer Support.

Bad RAM.
We purchased 15 pairs and 3 pair were bad out of the box.
This is usually not a problem and is expected in a large service center.
We continually ask for RMA on this bad memory through the website and we are completely ignored.
There is no online support no matter what time zone your in.
There is no one to answer calls no matter what time you call them.

DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS COMPANY

"Here is the Cliff-notes version: DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS COMPANY

I have been dealing with online shops for over 13 years and I can say that this has been the worst experience yet.

I bought anh SSD from this company to replace my very old Kingston SSD. The new SSD performed very poorly right from the beginning (fresh install of Win7), so much so that clicking on the start menu would cause lag. I contact support and Matthew Lindhe and I try flashing the drive but it does not help. An RMA is processed and Matthew Lindhe said I would get a notice of them receiving the SSD but even though tracking stated it arrived I get no e-mails.

I e-mail the company and so began the horrendous journey. Matthew Lindhe responds back admitting that my SSD along with numerous other drives was indeed faulty and tells me that another SSD would be shipped to me in 2 days tops along with tracking information.

Well more than a week passes with no e-mails and I inquire about the delay only to have Matthew Lindhe tell me that they are having problems getting a part, and then promise me another day.

That day too passed and so I write to them saying I would like my money back so that I can purchase another SSD in preparation for my classes.

I get no response for a few days then Matthew Lindhe gets back to me saying they would refund my money in 2 days. Again I do not see my refund in the time frame given.

I e-mail the company again and Matthew Lindhe responds saying that the refund was put through and I should wait 3 days until it shows up.

It has been over a week since that 3 day promise and still I have not received my refund. So now I am out $106 dollars and nothing to show for it.

Again let me reiterate the point of this, DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS COMPANY.

"Pay for overnight shipping on IN STOCK items and then wait a week with nothing showing up! They don't return phone calls or emails. Cheesy recording played when you do call in, cheap answering machine.

Is this company even real!?

I probably wont see my $300 again. Avoid these fraudsters!!!!

"Buyers BEWARE! Purchased 2GB of RAM from this company, took it to have it professionally installed. Got a call from the install store saying that the RAM I purchased was "bad RAM" and my computer would not even turn on with it in. I had them put my old (perfectly fine, just smaller 1GB memory) back in. Less than a month later, my computer wouldn't stay on for more than a minute and I was getting the "blue screen of death". Took it to another store (for an unbiased opinion) and they claim that the faulty RAM purchased from EDGE ruined the slot and was starting to ruin the other slot and that the motherboard was completely shot. When I called EDGE to try to get them to take responsibility for their product, they refused - stating damage to hardware is not their problem. I have 2 written reports from 2 computer shops stating the bad RAM ruined my computer but EDGE doesn't care. BUYERS BEWARE!!!!!!"

"Avoid making a purchase decision on the basis of a rebate from this company! Edge Tech Corp has purposely made it as hard as they possibly can to get a rebate fulfilled. I thought this company was successful enough to give their customers some confidence that they would be dealt with honestly. However, they don't provide any live customer service, and if you are fortunate enough to have discovered an extension to someone in their Accounts Payable department, you better be prepared to be stonewalled. My first attempt to get my rebate was denied as a result of an error by Logitech's rebate processor Continental Promotion Group, Inc. After I applied some pressure to Staples for some help, Edge Tech agreed that an error was made, and told Staples that it would be processed on a fast track. I should have received the rebate in mid July, according to Staples. It is now mid September, and the rebate is back in queue for another indeterminate period of time.

This company may produce a good product, but their business ethics are miserable. BUYER BEWARE!

"Note: The product itself was in great condition. The shipping,service, and rebate offer became an unexpected serious pain in my butt with no communication or resolution.

I purchased a 12" Digital photo frame with an advertised $40 rebate for a christmas gift. I upgraded shipping to 2nd Day Air (pm delivery) to ensure I would receive the product for the holidays. My order was placed Wed Dec 19th 4pm EST I checked my tracking label to find it would be delivered "on time" Monday Dec 24th!?!? I immediately tried to intercept the package via UPS (I was traveling for the holidays and atleast wanted it to be at the right location) UPS told me only the supplier, i.e. Edgetech Corp, could authorize such a request. I called and left 3 messages between 5:30-6:30pm EST Friday Dec 21st (they advertised hours of operation from 8am-6pm CST, i.e 9am-7pm EST). I never received a response. AFter the holidays I came home to find my pacakge sitting on my doorstep for 3 days.
If this wasn't bad enough I mailed in my rebate, two weeks later (after finally seeing my mom again to give her the gift) with all the proper forms only to receive a notice that my "submission was not postmarked within 15 days of purchase date".

After 2 months of trying to initiate contact with no responses, on my latest email I finally received a reply claiming that their "rebates are outsourced to a third party" and the policy clearly states 15 days after purchase date. I finally got a refund on my shipping charges after 3 more interactions of pleading my case. But they wont understand that my rebate was late (literally only 4 days) because of their incompetence from the beginning with shipping.

Bottom line the customer service was non exsistant, they never even had a record of my phone calls or emails from the holiday season.

This company had potential and is an ISO9001 certified company. How they continue to do business at this level I am baffled? They do not live up to their mission statement.
*Just make sure you read the fine prints and are clear on the details*

I frequently make online purchases and this time my expectations were very different. They have not rectified this situation until I get a refund for my rebate (a big decision making factor when I chose the item through this company).
