"Cancelled order due to misrepresentation of price by Efloors.
Placed phone order on March 24th for 520 sq ft of vinyl flooring. According to the website we were entitled to free shipping and the representative confirmed this as well. On March 25th received an email from Efloors stating they wouldn't proceed with order until we paid additional $99 for shipping. I responded that they were incorrect according to the website and the representative who took our order. I followed up with a telephone call and I was told that my tile was 'clearance'. My tile was not designated as sale or clearance on the site. I asked them to tell me where that was. They admitted they could not find it either! Then they changed the reason and said that the free shipping doesn't apply to vinyl tile. I again asked where it specifically states that. Again, they admitted they could not find it. So there was no evidence of anything they were telling me that would substantiate an additional $99 for shipping. They told me to either pay the additional $99 or they would refund. I asked them why they charged my card if they didn't have the full amount they wanted. They had not shipped and therefore should NOT have charged my card. They had no answer to that either. I told the rep that the website does not support any of the information they are telling me and the rep did agree that the site was misleading. The supervisor that I spoke too could not find any website verification to support the added charge either! Even after being unable to prove a valid reason for the additional charge, they continued to state that the order would not be processed until I paid $99 more. I requested they immediately credit my card and send me verification of that action via email. I never did get the email verification as requested but was able to verify a credit to my account by checking with the credit card company.
Based on this experience, I cannot recommend this company. I feel their site advertising and descriptions are deceptive and their customer service is unsatisfactory as they could not sufficiently support their reasoning for an additional $99 charge. "
