"I am ambivalent about my experience with EMTC. The shipment arrived in good time, but the product I received was not the same as the one displayed on their website. The products on their site are marketed as model-specific adapters with unit designs and connectors like the original adapter that I sought to replace. However, what they ship out is a universal adapter with a voltage switch on the side of the unit and a set of 8 connectors to match the size your computer requires. The unit larger than the one displayed online and has a very short cord reach of about 4 or 5 feet only.

I immediately emailed their customer service to have the item returned, and received a reply the next business day with a return invoice number. They offered a no-hassle return, discounting the hassle of having to pay for return postage. After several follow-up emails, a full refund was issued before even having received the returned item. While I did not end up getting the item I thought I had ordered, their customer service and return guarantee came through."
