"Poor management. Everbrook doesn’t have a capacity to resolve issues immediately. Vague about explaining situations. Regional directors and supervisors show poor communication and poor quality control. ."
"Poor communication. Turnover, and inability to resolve AC during the summer months but no problem asking for rate increases for childcare"
"Much thanks to Tonya and her staff for going above and beyond to provide such a fun, educational, and nurturing environment for our son to play, learn, and feel loved in. We will miss you!"
"Teachers are amazing - recent changes in management have been grear"
"Experience has been great overall. The only room for improvement in my opinion is teacher turnover."
"Overall we absolutely love the school. The teachers and directors have been wonderful with our son, who has a very unique set of needs. We feel like he is super supported. That said, there is incredible teacher turnover which has been hard. We ended up not sending our second child because of how much we dislike the corporate leadership and the fact that we feel like they don't support the teachers."
"The teachers do not focus on teaching the 3 year olds basic emotional regulation and social skills. They focus on teaching them to write and tell me that my 3 year old needs to practice writing his letters at home."
"The school is good and generally caring, location is very good. price was ok but got a bit on the higher side with 3 increases the last 18months. facility is not big but they go out alot which we and our kid love. the main concern we have - which grows more and more every time is the poor teacher retention that causes our kid to not be able to connect and experience over 6 times in last 15mon to lose their favorite teacher."
"When the school shut down because the air conditioning broke, the school continued to take our money yet didn't pay their teachers, the heart and soul of the school. Because of this, several teachers and families left the school."
"Communication from the Director of the school could be more frequent and when the school is faced with an issue, giving regular updates (even when there's no new information) would be helpful to lower the stress level of parents."
"This school has terrible leadership and does not prepare children to go into the Brookline school system. Although some good and caring teachers, the huge attrition rates make it impossible for the good teachers to do their jobs. There are inexperienced teachers working with older children who do not know how to manage them or prepare them for the school system. The director has poor communication and is not organized or on top of things when she says she will address issues and seems annoyed if you bring up a problem. I don’t see this school surviving in Brookline where parents expect more from a child care center that continuously raises tuition but shows no investment in child development."
"In general we have been very satisfied with Everbrook Academy"
"High staff turn over rate. Principal not very competent"
"Quite poor. We got fewer hours, fewer services (no music or Chinese class), high teacher attrition, and incredibly poor communication. Food could be way healthier. In return, we got price increases, new enrollment fees, and summer camp fees. The overall effect of the Everbrook purchase is indoubltly negative. Just new toys and wall decorations. The director and teachers do their best but no news from Everbrook regional managers."
"A lot of teacher turnover, staffing issues have been concerns. Everyone is lovely and the kids are happy there but the hours are not good enough --and you even increased tuition without providing any additional hours"
