By 5:45 I had a call from an ExcaliburPC rep confirming that I had indeed made the purchase, which is great from a security standpoint. The rep was very friendly and offered to help with any questions that I might have. Further, she told me that I would receive an email with a tracking number when the package shipped, which I did. I initially placed a bad review for EXcaliberPC.com based on how difficult I found it to communicate with them via their website.
Although I don't feel like the website provides great access to communication channels (people like to have records of their emails in their outbox rather than using web-forms, live chat seemd to be never online) my review was picked up by Steve who quickly reacted with the aim to help in any way possible.
Based on Steve's excellent customer service, I wanted to revise my review to being significantly improved. Steve was always quick to reply and pulled out all stops to try and progress things along as fast as possible.
But best of all, talking to Steve was like talking to a human being rather than talking to some corporate guy who writes in political fashion that their company enforces, or ends up forwarding on to other departments.
Steve owned the situation at hand, and saw it from start-to-end which is truly appreciated. It's a rare thing these days that someone owns the problem by themselves."
