"I placed an order for a docking station for ThinkPad X6. After two weeks, I did not receive the product. So I went back to their website. There was no way to track the order, but they had this Live Chat.
As soon as I clicked it, I was greeted by a representative. I inquired about the status, and I was told that the order was canceled, because the item was out of stock.
I told the person that it would have been nicer, if they had contacted me about this cancellation. The person said that email notification was sent to me. Obviously, I did not receive that email, and that's why I was inquiring about the status. (I did get two AD emails from them: one for TurboTax and another for Adobe Acrobat.)
Well, there was no point of arguing, because it doesn't change the fact that I need a docking station ASAP. So I went back to pricegrabber to search for the docking station.
Guess what? It showed that SaveAtEagle has the docking station in stock. The only difference is that they raised the price from $79.09 to $105.73.
Now, I can’t help but to think that they canceled my order, because they did not want to honor the price. I understand that they do business on a very thin margin, but I still think it's not the desirable way to do business.
This docking station is for my boss, and I could not afford to delay any more time. So I ended up placing an order from Lenovo for $199.
I still think SaveAtEagle is a good place to buy certain things; such as refurb laptops. I bought some goods and two refurb Averatec laptops (one for a co-worker and another for dad.) I am thinking about buying a Dell D400 from them for myself. Their price is good and they ship fast in good packaging. They may just need to work on communication part, and it would be nice to have a way to check order status online.

I called, waited on hold, to find out that they were out of stock and no one had notified me. There were several calls back and forth to track down the exact spec code, and I never had to wait more than an hour to get a real response. Most companies don't have the ability to check individual retail boxes for spec codes...saveateagle took the extra step, and get an A in my book for effort. Most of the big vendors can't guarantee steppings, but this is one vendor who listened to what I wanted and delivered!

"Product (Palm Tungsten E2) arrived promptly, however it was missing some accessories - the flip cover and AC adapter. The missing AC adapter was particularly irritating, as the product description on the Eagle website said an AC adapter was included. In addition, the installation CD-ROM does not appear to be an authentic Palm installation disk, and is missing some software (DocsToGo, possibly others) When I pointed out to Eagle that the product description was "New / Demo", and that the box they sent was missing stuff Palm said comes in the box, their response was basically "Tough, you get what we say you get, not what Palm says you get." When I pointed out that the Eagle website said I got an AC adapter, their response was that the unit can be charged through the USB cable. (That's fine, if you have a USB port around...)
I want to return the product, but they're not willing to refund my shipping costs.
Eagle has good prices, but be d*mn sure you know what you're getting and especially not getting. And, if possible, get it from them in writing."

"I have placed 5 orders from this company and have been happy until now. First, the last order took 13 days from order to shipment and I had to call for a tracking number. Second, the system came with a bad power supply (it wasn't even plugged into the motherboard). And third it was missing a stick of memory.
Their response, send the whole thing back for a refund (at my cost of course) even after the delay in receiving it). Second option, contact Acer for replacement parts. Again, completely unacceptable as they should know what they are selling. I am done doing business with this company."
