"I placed an order for an item that "usually ships same day", according to Eagle's website. I included the comment, "Please notify ASAP if it will not ship by 12/29," on my order. Eagle accepted my order and sent me a confirmation. 10 days later, I called to find out why I had not received my order. I was told that the item was out of stock, and that they were not sure if they would get any more in. I am not angry that Eagle did not have the item. I am angry that their website and email indicated that my order would be fulfilled, which was not true, and that no one bothered to inform me that it could not be fulfilled. Eagle's poor service cost me a $203 tax deduction under IRS Section 179. Eagle's customer service rep did not seem to understand or care why I was angry."
