"This company is almost too fast on the draw! I ordered some binoculars and then called hours later to cancel when I found out they were not what I was looking for...the salesman, Corey, immediately refunded my card and spent 10 minutes on the phone with me helping me decide on a different purchase. Unfortunately, shipping was so fast that the package went out. Being an honest man, I called them and they are sending me the new shipping sticker to send the binos back. Update: My new Minox HG 8x33 BR binocs got misrouted by UPS - I hate UPS, but I love this company. They offered to send me another set by next-day air, but then realized that was the last set they had. I just let them come in and they are great binocs. The store has a 30-day no questions return policy, which gives me more confidence than most other on-line merchants. The only thing I'd pay is return shipping (if it is a return where there is a merchandise problem, it is free). My only gripe is that they need to switch to FedEx. UPS sucks...for many reasons - and that is coming from a shareholder of UPS.

"This is the first time I've used Eagle Optics and I'm thoroughly impressed. I had a question on the sizes of two pairs of binoculars I was considering buying. They got them both out of their boxes and called me back and checked the measurements while we were on the phone. Try doing that with most of the internet based box pushers!

"I made an online purchase of a Zeiss spotting scope, eyepiece and tripod. I received my tracking # the next day and the order arrived a few days later right on schedule. All items were well packed. There was one small part missing from the tripod. I sent an email to the webmaster and received a reply the same the day saying the part would be sent to me. "I purchased a pair of Vortex binoculars from Eagle Optics via phone order and found the salesperson to be very courteous, helpful and knowlegeable. I ordered on Tuesday night, and received my order on Friday morning. Unfortunately due to bad luck and rough UPS handling, there were some issues with the binoculars. I called Eagle Optics immediately. They very quickly and happily offered me a replacement pair, an exchange for something else, or a complete refund. I told them that I would accept a replacement pair. They told me they would ship them out along with a slip for free return shipping on the first pair. So far so good! Well, by the following Friday, I had not received the replacement. So, I called to confirm they had been sent (not angry in any way). I was able to get someone right away, and they told me they were being shipped out that day (I think maybe they had forgotten previously..but no harm done...I was relieved to know that it hadn't gotten lost in shipment)..so I happily told them that would be fine. As it turns out..they next day air'd it to me AND included a nice cleaning kit free of charge! Based on this treatment, and the ease of communication with these people, I would definitely recommend them to my friends, and I WILL be doing business with them again!"

For the low price I was happy with mine, especially as it included a T-mount camera adapter, canvas case and a table-top tripod. The 'scope is great for the $$. Oh, they also include a one-time no-cost repair, no matter the problem!

My tripod had weaknesses - the thread was too short to mate with the scope, and the threads of the pan/tilt handle quickly stripped. I figured the tripod was a deal-sweetner, wrote it off in my mind & put the scope on a sturdier tripod. However, I dashed off an email to Eagle, just to let them know my tripod was problematic: I didn't ask for any adjustment: I was too happy with the scope.

To my amazement, I got a call the next morning from a friendly service manager, telling me I would recieve an entire replacement outfit by 1-day UPS, with a free UPS label to return the original one, no questions asked! I just received the new kit, & everything seems fine.

I still don't think the tripod quality is worthy of the scope, and I suggest regarding the rest of the items as well worth the cost of the kit & kiss off the tripod. No big deal.

CONCLUSION: a company with excellent, affordable optics, and a keen desire to please the customer. I really appreciate their no-holds-barred response to a minor complaint and I wish there were more companies like Eagle Optics that care so much about customer satisfaction. "
