"Excellent prices off the bat. Must be because they only stock the best products and not junk that Best Buy and the other big box stores sell. The 2% payment by check discount is also a pretty sweet deal. Service is super attentive as they called to let me know that if I was in a hurry, they offer white glove service for an additional fee, which I opted for. Once that was confirmed, my folks got their TV in two days. Pretty amazing that they will set up TV and turn it on to see if it works. Now folks are happy and in turn, I'm a very satisfied customer. This is where most people should start if they're searching for quality home theater equipment. Would most definitely buy from again! "

"*****DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY!!!!! This company's web site is deceptive and their customer service is HORRIBLE. The customer service at this company is soooo bad that it doesn't deserve to be in business. Their site says that they only ship TVs 55+ to the areas shaded in gray on their map. What it should actually say is they only ship TVs 55 inches and larger to the areas shades in their map. BIG DIFFERENCE! I called and spoke to Dave to make sure that they had my 55" TV in stock. I also specifically asked if they shipped to my area which was NOT in the shaded gray. Dave told me that they do ship to my area. I asked how much shipping was. He told me that it was free but to get the free shipping I had to place my order on their website. On their site it said that shipping was free for the TV. I put in my zip code so that the tax and shipping rates could be calculated. The site said that shipping was free. I places the order thinking that the price shown was the total the I would pay. Not so! I received a call ten minutes after placing the order and was told that they do not ship to my area and that I would have to pay an additional $150+ to receive my order. I discussed the above information with the sales represenative and was yelled at by him. Yeah, I'm the guy who is looking to drop $2,000 on a TV from your company and you have the nerve to yell at me?!?! Apparently the sales guy thought that the shipping was clearly explained on the site....even though I called to verify that there was no shipping charge ten minutes prior to ordering. I told them to cancel my order. The sales rep then told me that he'd "do me a favor" and split the cost of shipping. I cancelled my order and informed my credit card company of this fraudulent behavior. I was then called no less than ten times from this company immediate afterwards. I spoke to "Tony" who is the owner/manager referenced in many other reviews. I'll give credit where credit is do. Tony listened to the issue and tried to rectify the situation by offering free shipping, offered to upgrade to white glove delivery, and offered to either throw in a pair of 3D glasses or give a discount on the TV. I was soo upset with the behavior of the sales rep that even if Tony offered to sell the TV at half off that I wouldn't want it. This company seems to be more concerned with positive online reviews that their customers satisfaction. Yes, they might have the best prices on the Internet, but the trade off is the worst customer service that I have ever seen. In all they lost a $2K sale over $80 in shipping fees and now have this poor review to warn people of this company. Real smart business sense! A few recommendations for this company. Fix your site so that the exact shipping rates, if any, are calculated properly when a zip code is put in. Secondly, fire your entire staff and hire people who are customer service PROFESSIONALS. Thirdly, and the most importantly, treat your customer how you would like to be treated. It's not rocket science Tony!!"

They called to guide me thru the process to insure all went well. This was my first visit to the web site. Although I feel the company should have contacted me to tell me the item was backordered, I am pleased with the customer service I have received.

"I dont think you will ever meet a more non trusting person out there. I could not believe the price of the TV I ordered (Samsung UN55D7000) compared to local retailers. Im talking about hundreds less. My order was placed on sunday, I received my Tv on Thursday. I did pay for the White glove service (the delivery people could be a little better) but the East Coast guys delivered as promised. I will definitely order from them again."

"I spent many days researching the TV I finally selected. I searched the retail stores for availabilty, no one had it in stock (Houston!) and offered to special order. I began searching online to order myself and found Eastcoasttvs.com. I am so fortunate that the TV was not available locally - East Coast TV's price was SIGNIFICANTLY less, it was delivered exactly as requested.

"Ordered a 65" Samsung LED TV approx $3015 including the $39 shipping on April 7, 2012. No Tax! This item was displayed as availible on their website. As soon as i placed the order, I got a call letting me know that is was on back order. I corrected them and said it was available when I placed the order. Then they said it will be in their store by Thursday April 12. Well....today it's the April 13 and it's showing status of "Backordered". AND when i call to find out what is going on...the voicemail message says they are closed in observance of Passover. Very fishy with their commitments. I'm not happy with their service. Manager called and cancelled the order as I requested. "
"Purchased my TV a couple of weeks ago, didnt opt for any of the 'extra' options. The end result with the same as if i would have gone through a mayor channel store, only that i saved hundreds of dollars! Honestly would recommend to anyone over any other online retail.
TV was back-ordered, got a simple call saying that they would receive new shipments within a week. Week past, they got the tv in and expedited my delivery...again very pleased with the outcome. "
"I recently purchase a 46" Samsung smart TV from East Coast TVs and I am absolutely confident that they provided the lowest possible price I could have gotten anywhere else. The TV is great and you can't beat the price - and as that was the most important thing to me, I am mostly satisfied with my experience.
I waited a few days to write this review to make sure I had adequate perspective and I think that the moral of the story is that you get what you pay for - the product is legit so the customer service suffers a bit. When I called to confirm the online order I placed, I asked if I could pay over the phone or if I needed to mail in a check and the sales rep immediately offered COD, which was fine with me. He then said that the TV was backordered in their warehouse in Miami, but that they had two available in the NJ warehouse - I truly appreciated that he made those two available to me, given that I was anxious to get my TV. However, they came at an additional $25 in shipping. Then, when I got the invoice, it was actually an additional $29 in shipping. The sales rep could not have been nicer about the mix up in pricing, but I didn't appreciate the lack of transparency from the beginning in the cost of shipping. As I said, the cost was still the lowest around, so fine.
The shipping company ECTV uses, however, should be forced out of business - I actually can't believe they are in business after my experience. There was zero communication from them and I had to call no fewer than 10 times over the course of 24 hours to (1) find out when my TV was actually going to be coming to my apartment, since I had to be home to get it (2) make sure that the appropriate insurance paperwork had been filed with my building. Seems pretty simple, no? Apparently not for "Messenger for You." Then the delivery was nearly an hour late in my 4-hour (2-6pm) delivery window and I received no call before hand as promised.
All in all, I'd recommend ECTV if cost is your primary concern - but the process is not without its headaches."
