"They have very good prices but you need to be prepared to pay more than listed for a large TV as other reviewers have noted. Buried on their website is a map of their "free" shipping area. If you are outside that area you will have to pay for white glove service. Then there is the mandatory insurance added to that. As long as you know that it may cost several hundred dollars more than the website price then you won't have any unpleasant surprises. Their prices are low to start and I had no issues with delivery. I would consider ordering from them again."

After my purchase, they called to talk to me directly and verify my order and needs. After receiving my TV, they called in again to check that I was satisfied with the whole process. I'm not accustomed to this level of care in this day and age and that attention to personal detail was appreciated. Though after my purchase it felt a like the sales associate was being pushy and hoping to bundle in extra services, so just be aware of that. I gave in on the white glove delivery service, but with an expensive TV I suppose that's worthwhile. Overall the customer service and the great price makes East Coast TV's a company I can highly recommend."

I buy a TV for great picture. So many people are getting LED's and missing the best possible picture, which at this price range is Plasma. Panasonic makes the best Plasma and you cannot get a better picture for the price. I got the 50 Inch Panasonic TCP50ST60 and I love it! Awesome!
Everyone complains about picture in bright light. We watch our Plasma in the daytime and it's very good. No problem.
East Coast TV gave us a great deal. Delivery was quick and efficient. They delivery guys were great and they set the TV up and turned it on to be sure it worked before they left. I got to inspect it and if there had been any cosmetic or basic operational issues I would have been able to deal with them right there.
But you have to understand, this company is in New Jersey. That might sound biased, and it is. I've never had a clean, straight forward transaction with a purchase from a vendor in NJ. It think it's in their DNA or something.
You start out with a great deal (in this case about $80 less than anyone else). Then you start getting the 'Upsales' workover, bla, bla, bla. If you're prepared to play the game you're fine. If you're not your 'Great Deal' begins to shrink quit a bit.
The salesman was not thrilled with me but they have their agenda and I have mine. I was half expecting the old stand-by, 'Oh! I'm sorry! We just sold the last one we had and this product is on back order' ploy.
But they shipped the TV quickly and at a great price. It would be nice to cut a straight up deal with a vendor in NJ... I guess I'll just keep trying.
